Straightforward renewal of wills

We needed to update our wills (mine and my wife's) which were over 28 years old. I discovered that Herrington Carmichael had acquired the company who prepared and held our old wills. I contacted Herrington Carmichael and was contacted by them. Their nearest office was in Ascot. So we arranged to meet someone based at Fanborough at the Ascot office. We had a lengthy and worthwhile discussion in order to agree what would be in the new wills. We were sent drafts of the wills which needed little change. We then had another short meeting at Ascot to sign the wills. All very straightforward.

Even during a time when many agents and solicitors typically warn clients in November that they won't be able to complete before Christmas, I was able to exchange contracts in under four weeks, securing my house purchase with completion set for early January.
Ellena was not only meticulous throughout the entire process, but she also took the time to explain everything in simple terms. This greatly facilitated navigating various stages of the purchase and empowered me to make informed decisions.
I would wholeheartedly recommend Ellena to anyone looking to buy or sell in the future, and I will definitely rely on her for any legal matters going forward.
