We was introduced to Herrington Carmichael by the builder and we were more than happy to proceed based upon the quoted cost, the service received from start to finish was excellent and everyone was not only helpful but everything was done quickly which allowed us to achieve our deadline. we are selling our main residence in 2025 and we will defiantly be back for our conveyancing.

Zoe Morris is a most accomplished conveyancing solicitor. Faced with an eight week deadline to our buyer’s desired completion date she achieved the nigh impossible objective of selling our listed building within the timeframe. Her assistant Tom Garner ably handled the first three weeks of this period whilst Zoe was on annual leave. On her return we were faced with over forty buyer’s solicitor’s complex questions. Although Zoe had not previously encountered some of the questions regarding Listed Building Consent prior to current legislation, she meticulously checked the legal veracity of my own responses and presented them concisely and conclusively, avoiding expensive indemnity policies. Throughout both Zoe and Tom were always courteous and pleasant to deal with

Honestly, a fantastic experience. I applied quite a bit of pressure on the team to meet a deadline which had been set FOR us, and was looking like it was not going to be followed by those who set the deadline for us, but we made it with a few hours to spare. I dealt specifically with Mary-Jayne Eldred and also Laura Miller (could not find her on the drop down unfortunately) but they were both fantastic. The sale of our flat was a bit all over the place, with questions asked and confusion due to the leasehold structure, but Mary-Jayne and I worked together really well, and I felt that Mary-Jayne was appreciative of my support and information-providing towards the final hours before exchange (which was nail biting, I have to admit!) Also, Mary-Jayne dealt with the sale so well, our previous solicitor would have never coped with the questions, or with the quick turnaround needed.
The purchase of our new house dealt with by Laura was great as well, and was much easier than the sale of the flat.
Was great to find a solicitor firm with a bit of banter and a personable approach.
