Disappointing service

I found Sarah at first to be really helpful but as the process went on and there was a lot of delays and a real lack of communication

Some of the issues encountered were

We were sent somebody else’s tenancy agreement, which is a big GDPR breach

An important document we hand delivered to the Silsden office was lost

They forgot to send the contract out to us to send

I felt if I didn’t contact them I wouldn’t hear from them - lack of updates

We got there in the end but felt they were more reactive rather than proactive which is very disappointing

Smooth experience with my first property

Sarah and all the team that I met at the Silsden branch were great at guiding myself and my partner through a completely new experience in a very efficient mannner which led to the full process taking under 8 weeks. If there was ever a time I was unsure about how to proceed Sarah was only a phone call or email away and was great at providing responses. I would recommend Sarah and Walker Foster to anyone who is interested in this service

Dealing with Walker Foster Solicitors and in particular Emily Throup and Sarah Bright was easy and straightforward. Emily and Sarah were clear and polite in their communications with us. Emily was very driven and pushed to move things forward with the sale while providing us with all the relevant information, as well as telling us exactly what we needed to do clearly and concisely. Emily and Sarah were always ahead of the other parties in the chain and they were easy to get in touch with by phone or email. We would strongly recommend using Walker Foster Solicitors and in particular Emily and Sarah.

I had dealt with WF previously and had a good experience (residential) so it only made sense for me to use them again when acquiring a commercial property. I was disappointed due to:
- was not fully kept up to date.
- the lady that was dealing with me was rude.
- I sensed WF was very money hungry.
- I did most of the chasing myself (even though I was paying them to do this).
When they invoiced me over 10% of the actual sale I was shocked. If you want to overpay and do most of the chasing yourself then reach out to them. I will NOT use them again. Sadly, the owner's mindset of money grabbing filters through to the team.
