Stephanie dealt with the sale of my parent's property. She was professional and also very kind and considerate following the death of my father. We made a deal on the property April 2021. BES legal submitted application to HM Land registry (status is still pending) only last year after our numerous emails where I had to mention that all that looked like a fraud - taking people's money and not providing services. Kristina Howell and Nikki Babooram couldn't even be bothered to reply. Zero communication! We received a service charge invoice for the period we didn't even own the property. All our emails and phone call were always ignored. It was solicitor's job to make sure that all accounts were cleared but instead we got the property with the debts we had to deal with. Two years later nothing was done and we had to pay 1.5k to management agency. The management agency tried to contact them and end up being ignored as well. If you've got spare money, time and energy you are ready to lose - go for it! I would definitely call them THE BIGGEST SCAMMERS of West Sussex

After 5 months of purchase my property with Dhanisha and asked for my conveyancing file, paid an amout of 90£ to get it, I still did not received it. They are now ignoring my e mails, not replying at all, even tho I made a formal complaint. Terrible agency, documets missing, land registry not done properly. Stay away from them!

Engaging with bes legal was the most stressful experiences of my life, I have buying and selling property since 1985, and have never seen conveyancing done in a worse manner, they have one excuse after another for their incompetence and total lack of communication, they literally "make it up as they go along".
Someone could borrow a book from the library "do it yourself conveyancing" and do a better job than "Stephanie and dhanisha". Use this company at your peril!

Having recently lost my Mother, i had to deal with the Probate Sale of her Property. BES Legal were recommended by the Estate Agents and Stephanie Brunton was assigned as my solicitor. I was so pleased, Stephanie was very helpful and knowledgeable regarding all aspects of the process and was always available to answer any queries, even on her days off. Throughout the sale you were dealing with a person not an organisation and i don't think it could have gone smoother .In the end, the final account was a little cheaper than the original estimate as well.
Would recommend Stephanie at BES Legal.

The solicitor dealing with my purchase lied for over a month saying she hadn’t received my documents for my purchase, we phoned & emailed yet they constantly lied saying they hadn’t received the documents causing complete hold ups. This has caused the property to fall though and The solicitor dealing with my purchase is now facing a huge complaint for also leaking my personal data and if not resolved, further action will be taken involving the Legal Ombudsman. I have told so many people online and in the local community and they are absolutely disgusted that personal information was discussed about her client (being me) to a third party. And absolute lies told to a third party.

Buying and selling one's house can be one of the life's most traumatic and frustrating experiences. It certainly was for us. Thank goodness we found Stephanie to help us with our sale.
We can honestly say that she is by far the most responsive and helpful person we have ever dealt with and we would highly recommend her to anyone looking to move.

From the first phone call with BES I was extremely happy I had chosen them to deal with my sale and purchase of properties. Stephanie and Jason went the extra mile to help the journey along. Selling and moving from a property that has been your home for many years is a traumatic event. The team at BES made that journey a lot easier. This review is for a different branch.
I had a simple sale last year that fell through due to the poor quality of my solicitors. This firm, recommended by my estate agency, were impossible to conact by phone or in person after my money was paid. They lied to me on a number of occasions (in writing!) about what they had managed to achieve during the sale process, always blaming the other solicitor for any delays, and they charged me for sales packs that they never even requested from the relevant parties. Upon discovery of their poor level of service, they refused to reimburse me any money at all for the packs that they never issued or paid for. The solicitor assigned to me was unprofessional and lacked integrity. I would never use this firm again, even if their services were provided to me free of charge
