Sale of Property and Probate

This was dealing with the sale of my deceased mother’s property and dealing with the estate through probate. The whole process was seamless and well above my expectations. It was dealt with in a professional and efficient way by both the house sale team and Vanessa Ford dealing with the probate.

Professional service with occasional minor clerical errors

Probate service is professional and to a good standard. We dealt with the Legal Assistant, except for the initial consultation with one of the Partners.
Communication is good in terms of updating us of progress and responding very quickly indeed to our questions. A lot of the tardiness was due to us (the clients) trying to make decisions!

There were two of us acting as Executors and our names got mixed up a couple of times on correspondence, but that had no detrimental effect.

Making a will can be a minefield of mixed emotions and an overload of information and choices as there are so many options, and prices. In the end we decided to go with Lanyon Bowdler and contacted them for a consultation.
