Terrible service
I spoke to the receptionist at Selby office about my needs on a Monday, only to be told there was no solicitor in the office and that someone would call me on Wednesday. Fine. No call came so I rang them on Friday again, apologies as the person ringing me had taken leave and would be back the following Wednesday and would call me then!! Guess what?!? No call. I rang them Thursday again to be told they don’t offer the service I requested on day 1. I was then told someone would call me back the same day. I called a different solicitor in Selby at this point and explained my needs, got an appointment for their next working day after explaining how Jordan’s had let me down, they popped my appointment in between two appointments they already had, booked in the half hour in between. Jordan’s (Lisa from Wakefield office) did actually call me back to apologise and say she had spoken to a solicitor who had agreed to sign the document, I obviously declined but wonder if they would have been there on Tuesday ?!? Who knows but I would definitely never recommend Jordan’s to anyone.

Excellent Service to update our wills
This review is for a different branch.
My wife and I wanted to update our wills. We chose Jordans in Wetherby rather than our original Harrogate solicitors based on positive online reviews and because they seemed to offer better value for money. Sophie Costello took time to fully understand our situation and advised us on potential solutions, explaining them in ways we could readily understand rather than sticking to "legalese". Once we had made the relevant decisions, our draft wills were produced promptly, with the opportunity to review and make minor amendments before the final version was signed today. Any queries were answered quickly, whether in person, or by phone or email. All in all, a very professional and friendly service, with the final cost the same as our original quote. Highly recommended!

Historical child s*xual abuse claim
This review is for a different branch.
My case was around historical s*xual abuse that I suffered as a child. I was very anxious about approaching this subject but the level of care and understanding I received from first contact to conclusion was first class.
I was put at ease and everything was explained to me in language and terms i was able to understand. The advice I received was clear and unbiased, I was not pushed in to any quick decision making rather give the time and assistance I needed to help me make an informed choice.
