Great service

When I first decided to do my will, I was a little afraid of how to go about doing it. Now that I’ve done it, I feel much more confident about having placed my wishes onto an official document, which will make things simpler for my remaining family/trustees to be able to sort out m last wishes after death

Thank you very much

I would like to thank Claire Banks and her team for a brilliant job they did handling my case. The case went on for about five years and in that time I was kept up to date with everything that was going on. Claire from the start of my case said it would be very difficult to prove, but with the hard work and dedication Claire put in she got me the right result. To say we are overjoyed would be an understatement. Maxwell Hodge are lucky to have Claire, she is a credit to the company herself and her family. Thank you very much

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I recently had the pleasure of working with Ciara Furey on creating a joint will, and I couldn’t be more impressed with her professionalism and expertise. From the initial consultation to the final signing, Ciara was thorough, patient, and incredibly knowledgeable. She took the time to explain the process in detail, addressing all of my concerns with clarity and precision.

What stood out the most was her attention to detail and her ability to make what could have been a complex and overwhelming process feel straightforward and manageable. Ciara’s communication was top-notch throughout, ensuring I was informed every step of the way. She handled all aspects of our joint will with great care, and I now feel confident that everything is in place for the future.

I highly recommend Ciara Furey to anyone seeking expert legal advice and support. Her professionalism and dedication truly set her apart. Thank you, Ciara!

To Will or not to Will

Seems a morbid thing to do but if I'm honest we all need to do this in creating a "Will" to leave our loved ones something, be that ££ or prized possessions, so that issues are not created in probate.

I had left this your years to get organised, and it was past few weeks that I thought, this is not an "old" persons thing to do, but something we all need to do at any age, you may have money, a house, children. Having a will removed many issues that your loved ones will face.

Never to young to get a will and Jennifer at Maxwell Hodge (Aintree) was fantastic, made this process so easy and with simple language, no leagalise!

Where to start - It took me a long time to write that review, cause I refused to pay the open amount they want to charge me ( around 500) .
In the beginning it all looked very good and professional, I used the firm because of my divorce.
I got told that my case is no problem , specially as the children with me and my wife left and was not paying any child support , and that we will put this and this against what she was asking for .

But a lot of things have been not true or other important facts have not being taken in account, for the final hearing I defended myself, because I lost the trust in the lawyer.
Even the judge then ask me then, why some papers handed in from my lawyer have not been signed the right way and cant be accepted. ( something every lawyer should know the Judge replied)
Very disappointing, I was client of the the family lawyer in Liverpool office .
I tried to ask them to let me off the final bill, because of so much information I got told, was not right as it was shown in the final hearing . Even in the hearing before when I was still with the firm, not the lawyer from Liverpool came, but my case was given to a barrister, who 10 Minutes before the hearing ask me, about things he should have known.I had to go with him through my file and saw on the questions he ask , he had no idea about my case . He was not prepared.
I did not feel like a valued client, I felt more like a number with different invoices to pay.
After years of struggling, trying to ask them to let my off the final 500 GBP because of the service they provided who was not good. I decided now to pay the rest, cause only a court hearing would have given me any possibility, but I have enough. If possible I would not have given any star for my experience with this company, I can only speak about my experience with the office in Liverpool and the family lawyer there . If my lawyer would have informed me about some important facts, I learned in court from the judge, the outcome for me would ave been so different. And I would have saved a lot of money emotional and financial pain. Never again Maxwell and Hodge , not helpful , only after the money
