In comparison with buying our home, in which we had used different lawyers (at Joe Egan), I found that there were quite a few differences. I much preferred the regular contact and friendliness from Joe Egan and the phone calls that they did getting in touch, letting us know what was going on, checking if we had any questions or simply putting our minds at ease.
Customer service as AFG Law felt more distant, most, if not all, of the contact was done by email and there were long stretches of silence in between different motions. We did not get receipt of our information either, which could have eased our minds quite some (did we send everything we needed? Was it correct? Did they receive the email?)
However, asides from that, everything was done quickly, appropriately, and the questions were extremely clear. They sent thorough emails and clear instructions on what we needed to provide.
