From start to finish, Suzanne and her team at Thomson Snell & Passmore have been a pleasure to work with. We cannot thank you enough for your support with our sale and helping to steer us through the whole process.

Calm, collected and consistent

Neha was an extremely attentive lawyer for both my Will and Will Trusts. Rapidly responded to all stages of each process.
She was 5 star but I dropped a star for the billings system which were sent by email on the tiniest font. This for the over 80s was my only negative.

Help with probate application

Naomi proved invaluable in assisting with the probate application for my late mother’s estate. She explained everything in a clear manner. I felt so daunted applying for probate but Naomi made the whole process so straightforward.

Quality and Efficient Customer Service as usual!

I refer to Alastair Harvey as ‘the human bullet’ - he and his team are super efficient, keep in constant contact with updates and executes each transaction professionally, concisely and completely. I have instructed TSP for the sale and purchase of my last 5 properties and would never consider going elsewhere.
You’re never allowed to retire Alastair!!

Excellent service

Matthew and his team dealt with the sale and purchase of our property brilliantly. We have recommended them to all our friends who are thinking of moving house. They were on top of everything and kept us informed through out the process, unlike some of the other solicitors we have had to deal with. They took the stress out of the whole process. They were very kind whenever I didn’t understand anything or had questions.

We wanted to transfer ownership of a holiday house to our three children, but only had five weeks to do it if we wished to 'beat the Budget date' of 30th October. Rebecca Swain did a great job for us in bringing the project in within the deadline (with five days to spare). Professional, organised, unflustered.

Grace Baker was my solicitor who manage the conveyancing of the sale of my London flat. I had dealt with this company before but my previous contact had retired and I was allocated Grace Baker. Grace helped guide me through the sale of my flat with advice and actions superbly well. She also assisted in a lease extension for freehold and lease hold with the aid of Jenny Offord at the same time. The process was managed efficiently with guidance progressing quickly and effectively, even liaising with me when I was abroad. This experience was so professional that I would highly recommend her.

Thomson Snell & Passmore were recommended to us by our estate agent and we used their services for selling and buying. Cannot faul the service we received. Their customer service is 5 star and if other companies could take notes from them, life would be a lot easier everywhere. We would recommend Thomson Snell & Passmore and would definitely have them top of the list if we ever move house again.

The firm is highly rated in all practice areas in The Legal 500 directory where 43 lawyers are recognised, while 31 lawyers are recognised in Chambers. We have achieved this by continuously aligning ourselves with our clients’ ever changing needs as well as ensuring that we provide intelligent and practical legal advice to both businesses and individuals. Our clients range from high net worth private individuals, family trusts and owner managed businesses to AIM listed companies, U.K. subsidiaries of multi-nationals, major U.K. Plcs, local authorities, charities and public/private sector partnerships. Our Commercial Group consists of approximately 80 lawyers some of whom have qualified, trained and worked in magic circle and other large City practices before moving out to Kent. They are experienced in providing a degree of expertise and practical commercial advice at service levels and fees that our more astute commercial clients expect. We are constantly striving to improve and differentiate ourselves from other firms in the region. We recognise the key factors for clients when choosing which law firm to use: the client experience and the level of service provided; the technical competencies of the team dealing with the instruction and value for money. With offices in Tunbridge Wells and the Thames Gateway, the firm has earned a reputation over generations for providing pragmatic legal advice and delivering exceptional client service. Established in 1570, the firm’s unique heritage underpins its quality, service and commitment to providing peace of mind to generations of families and businesses.
