I had total confidence in Alex Barley

I have been through a harrowing experience as the result of an accident when hit by a car as a pedestrian. From the moment I met Alex, I felt confident he would be a good choice as my solicitor. He's friendly and approachable, explains things in a straightforward manner and the prompt response to my emails was exceptional. Due to continuous delays in Police investigations there were many times where I felt really despondent but I had total confidence in Alexs' abilities and he didn't let me down. I can't speak highly enough of the way in which he conducted my case. I briefly dealt with another solicitor at Slater Heelis ( Hannah Costley) and she too was a very friendly and approachable individual. Thank you Slater Heelis.

Representation for an Employment Tribunal

My involvement with Slater Heelis started after they acquired Townsneedham, where I’d been working with Alex Barley for several years as a union representative. Under the new management I was eventually assigned Helen Harradine to represent me personally in an Employment Tribunal and I could not have asked for better.
From the very start Helen was professional, engaging and patient. Her ability to translate the process and legal ‘speak’ into language that I could understand was admirable. She was always quick to respond when questions arose with clear and concise answers.
Her orderly and detailed approach to the case, with a constant eye on the available finances, ensured the process remained on schedule and within budget.
Thinking creatively Helen saw an opportunity that hadn’t been considered previously and suggested we explore it. Helens intuitive approach ultimately resulted in a settlement.
She often worked well past her normal hours and on several occasions came in to work on her days off, rearranging child care, to be there for me. I am quite sure without Helens professionalism, dedication and tenacity I would not have got the settlement I received.
Helen is utterly professional, diligent, hardworking and very approachable.
I have been so impressed with Helens work that I have recommend her, through Slater Heelis, to others.
Thank you very much Helen.

I am not too experienced with domestic conveyancing. Are any of us? So when we accepted an offer for our home, it was time to find a great lawyer. And we did! Zara Banday metaphorically ‘took our hands’ and guided us from start to finish with skill, care, consideration and most importantly with our best interests in mind at all times. I know that Zara will have been dealing with many clients simultaneously but she never failed to reply to an email, return a call or respond to our buyer’s solicitor, all in a timely fashion.

She is also rather adept at offering help to her counterpart from the buyers legal team when they rely on an inexperienced solicitor who doesn’t appear to know what to do. .

I don’t often recommend because it can get you into trouble. But on this occasion I can unhesitatingly advise anyone who is reading this, to contact Zara Banday at Slater Heelis. Selling your house is likely to be the biggest transaction of your life. I urge you to get Zara on your team before your buyer nips in ahead of you!!

I would like to express my gratitude to solicitor Amy Price for the professional advice and guidance she provided during my divorce case. She was incredibly efficient, compassionate, and always responded with remarkable speed. Before I met Amy, I had dealt with other solicitors from different firms who were not as helpful, and I ended up wasting quite a bit of money. That experience made me realize how fortunate I was to find Amy and how efficient she is. Now that my case has finally come to a conclusion, I especially want to thank her for the hard work and dedication she put into it.
