Mark is very good at what he does, experienced in his field and able to give clear advice when dealing with complicated issues and scenarios. Clearly a divorce process is challenging, but I was always able to have honest and straight conversations with Mark, in a positive way which enabled progression of my case quickly and efficiently.
I had a couple of complicated issues to resolve which were dealt with competently resulting in clear drafting for all parties. I felt Mark understood my goals, and worked quickly to help keep moving things forward to a conclusion.
As much as I hope I never need him again...... I would recommend Mark's services.

I came to Slater Heelies after a disaster with previous solicitor.

Alex from the onset was friendly, reassuring, professional but firm. Many times she had to challenge my perspectives and encouraged strength.

Alex had an objective approach and was always quick and prompt in replying to emails and calls. Her in depth knowledge was reassuring and was able to relay in a succinct manner that was easy to digest.

I felt with Alex’s friendly manner that she always had my best interests at the heart and was extremely reassuring during the whole process which was really appreciated.

I would have no hesitation in using her again… but at the same time hope that there would never be a need.

I am not too experienced with domestic conveyancing. Are any of us? So when we accepted an offer for our home, it was time to find a great lawyer. And we did! Zara Banday metaphorically ‘took our hands’ and guided us from start to finish with skill, care, consideration and most importantly with our best interests in mind at all times. I know that Zara will have been dealing with many clients simultaneously but she never failed to reply to an email, return a call or respond to our buyer’s solicitor, all in a timely fashion.

She is also rather adept at offering help to her counterpart from the buyers legal team when they rely on an inexperienced solicitor who doesn’t appear to know what to do. .

I don’t often recommend because it can get you into trouble. But on this occasion I can unhesitatingly advise anyone who is reading this, to contact Zara Banday at Slater Heelis. Selling your house is likely to be the biggest transaction of your life. I urge you to get Zara on your team before your buyer nips in ahead of you!!
