Divorce

I was represented by Slater Heelis in my divorce and family court proceedings, and without a shadow of a doubt would not hesitate in recommending them.

Rebecca was impeccable from day one, always sharp, understanding, knowledgeable and professional legal services all round and always consistently showed integrity and class.

I feel so fortunate to have had this level of representation by my side in court and I really don't know what I would have done without it, especially while sadly navigating the emotional impact of some upsetting circumstances surrounding my divorce.

I can now move forward knowing have my security to a happier future and having this representation has been invaluable to the rest of my life - I can't thank Rebecca & the team enough. You are all amazing!

Amazing work

I cannot express enough gratitude for the incredible work Hannah from Slater Hills did for my family. My brother was wrongfully accused and spent five months in prison before his trial. It was an unimaginably difficult and emotional time for all of us, but Hannah’s professionalism, compassion, and determination truly made all the difference.

From the beginning, Hannah was patient and understanding, taking the time to listen to our concerns and explain every step of the process. She never rushed us and made sure we felt supported and informed throughout. Her dedication to uncovering the truth and fighting for justice was evident in every interaction we had.

Hannah’s legal expertise and attention to detail ultimately led to my brother being found not guilty, and our family finally feels like we can breathe again. This outcome wouldn’t have been possible without her tireless efforts and the exceptional support of the Slater Hills team.

If you’re looking for a criminal lawyer who truly cares and will fight for you every step of the way, I cannot recommend Hannah enough. Thank you, Hannah, for helping to restore my brother’s life and bringing peace back to our family. We will forever be grateful.

Exceptionally knowledgeable

I was so relieved to have had a consultation with Kaleel. After having sought counsel from two other firms, I was finding myself in what seemed to be a complicated situation with having had a shariah divorce in the UK and taking the right steps with the UK divorce. Kaleel listened attentively, and compassionately and gave me the time and space to express myself, and then gave me advice that actually helped me to navigate this situation with more clarity. His knowledge of cultural and religious and legal matters was impressive and breaking the matter down in simple language showed me he is highly skilled and adaptable. Thank you!

House Sale

Slater Heelis (in particular, Helen) have recently dealt with the sale of my property. From the outset Helen was so professional and efficient. I had never sold a house before and the process was explained very clearly to me so that I knew exactly what to expect. Helen always answered my phone calls and responded to emails quickly. She pre-empted what would be required from me so that there was no delays on our side. Dealing with Slater Heelis was a very reassuring experience, I could not be happier with their service and I would definitely recommended this firm to anyone requiring an excellent firm of Solicitors.

Very good process, highly recommended

Very good process dealing with my mother's estate and probate at a difficult time for the family. Professional, friendly and the process was clearly explained so we knew where things were up to with the process. Even though it was a small estate, it was handled with professionalism and care. Would definitely recommend.

I am not too experienced with domestic conveyancing. Are any of us? So when we accepted an offer for our home, it was time to find a great lawyer. And we did! Zara Banday metaphorically ‘took our hands’ and guided us from start to finish with skill, care, consideration and most importantly with our best interests in mind at all times. I know that Zara will have been dealing with many clients simultaneously but she never failed to reply to an email, return a call or respond to our buyer’s solicitor, all in a timely fashion.

She is also rather adept at offering help to her counterpart from the buyers legal team when they rely on an inexperienced solicitor who doesn’t appear to know what to do. .

I don’t often recommend because it can get you into trouble. But on this occasion I can unhesitatingly advise anyone who is reading this, to contact Zara Banday at Slater Heelis. Selling your house is likely to be the biggest transaction of your life. I urge you to get Zara on your team before your buyer nips in ahead of you!!

I would like to express my gratitude to solicitor Amy Price for the professional advice and guidance she provided during my divorce case. She was incredibly efficient, compassionate, and always responded with remarkable speed. Before I met Amy, I had dealt with other solicitors from different firms who were not as helpful, and I ended up wasting quite a bit of money. That experience made me realize how fortunate I was to find Amy and how efficient she is. Now that my case has finally come to a conclusion, I especially want to thank her for the hard work and dedication she put into it.
