In a nutshell, Alison Law Bradford are one of the worst claims management company out there. If I wasn't so angry right now I would actually laugh at how these people are allowed to operate. All the horror stories you hear about certain claims' companys regarding misconduct, mishandling, lack of reliability and dishonesty- you will find embedded within this firm and its people. For this reason, I have reported them to the Financial Conduct Authority.
I made the mistake of allowing them to deal with my claim and my purpose for leaving a review is so that nobody makes the same mistake or falls for the glowing reviews. Please look carefully as they are clearly fake and left by friends and family of those who work here.
In Oct 2020, I was involved in a no-fault car accident. This is my first accident since I passed my test 7 years ago and I am not prepared to accept any form of liability. I provided my statement, photographs and details of the independent witness and did this promptly and efficiently with a paper trail to prove it. Because I know how slow they are, I even drove my (damaged) vehicle to them (in Bradford) for the engineer to inspect for his report. I was told this would be done in a few days and it has now been 6 months. This matter has still not been resolved and that is simply because Alison Law can't be bothered- or they may have settled it behind my back and are avoiding my calls.
The following are examples of issues I faced with specific examples:
- Lack of integrity and unproffesionalism (they lie to you and tell you they will do something and months later still don't do it).
- When they are questioned, they blame everything on Covid. I understand things will move slower, but as proffesionals you are meant to get your job done regardless.
-Unorganised (nobody knows what is going on and everytime you speak with them, you will end up doing their job.
-They don't answer calls and when they do they return them after 2 weeks
- You have to 'pester' them and get on their backs for them to do the basics.
- Communication is poor meaning everytime you speak with them you find out somebody new is dealing with your issue.
-Staff turnover is high and everybody in this place seems to (conveniently) get sick and disappear every few weeks if you raise an issue.
-Unqualified people (I have a feeling this a family/friends set up where they just give anybody the job)
The stress and anxiety this place has caused me is uncalled for. Do yourself a favour and go with a reputable firm. I sincerely regret my mistake and wish I had never bothered with this firm.
