I am a Banking and Finance lawyer with a focus on international Real Estate Finance, Islamic Finance, and Project Finance transactions. I have worked on private loans, corporate finance, mezzanine, syndicated, bi-lateral transactions, and Islamic Finance debt. I have experience in mergers and acquisitions, real estate investment, pension funds acquisitions, challenger bank acquisitions, and development transactions across a variety of asset classes. I have also worked as a Consultant in Finance & Projects & Real Estate at Tech Mahindra, where I was seconded to Google to consult on a range of projects within Contracts, Data, and Machine Learning. I also worked as an Associate in Banking, Finance & Projects at Trowers & Hamlins LLP and Real Estate Finance & Banking at Shakespeare Martineau LLP. At Trowers & Hamlins LLP, I acted on international and domestic transactions worth GBP 10,200,000 – GBP 191,000,000, including investment and development transactions across a variety of asset classes. At Shakespeare Martineau LLP, I serviced Gatehouse Bank and Al Rayan Bank working on a multitude of domestic Islamic Finance transactions worth GBP 500,000 – 1,200,000 HPP matters. I also worked as a Trainee Solicitor and Associate at Child & Child within Real Estate, where I managed a transaction portfolio of development, off-plan, new build projects including individuals of HNW and UHNW financial entities and members of Saudi/UAE royal families. Before becoming a lawyer, I worked as a Business Development Executive and Paralegal at Lewis & Co, where I managed business development projects, successfully managed relationships with clients, vendors, and property agents, and identified new opportunities for growth by demonstrating the value of digitising processes and workflows. I am former Kickboxing World Champion.
