Avoid them especially Narinder ! Negative star

Please don’t play with clients emotions .. If you are not fit for this job then please leave .. buying a home is so important to people. I could literally see the difference in service when I changed solicitors. Absolutely zero correspondence from the solicitor and I lost a lot of time

Excellent service client for 10 years

i have been with this firm for 10 years now the partners are great with over 17 years worth of experience. Recently the admin staff and junior paralegals have really let the firm down with their careless attitudes. The new staff are great and i dont think its fair for the firm who have had a bad raft of staff

Horrible experience

These are the worst solicitors one could ever have. You should avoid them by all means, trust me. They are rude, unprofessional and careless people. We have lost so much time as a result of their miscommunication and lack of accountability. We couldn’t get an update on our case for weeks!! No one would respond to our queries, not to mention reach out to us to update on the progress of our mortgage checks. The only time they responded quickly was when we had to transfer money for their services, money that they refused to refund even though the case wasn’t completed from their end. Eventually, we had to change the solicitors and I didn’t even hear an apology for wasting so much of our time and money. Absolutely shameful.

Avoid. Avoid. Avoid.

They are completely inept and it took them three months to assist with a remortgage despite them having the majority of the documents immediately and despite me chasing them throughout the process. I asked them whether they needed any info regarding the Help to Buy redemption and they told me it was all "under control" ... pfft. A day before we were supposed to complete (and a month after I asked them about the help to buy redemption) they told me they didn't have one and it was necessary to proceed with the remortgage. This is something that takes 14 days and requires a valuation. When I asked them why they told me this was under control when it wasn't they said they had never said that (I had it in writing from them?) and they don't advise on this sort of thing. They are absolutely atrocious and I can see from other reviews that others have had the same experience.

When I complained they took two months and numerous phone calls to respond and told me the case was handled appropriately by their solicitors, says it all really.

Shocking

They ignore emails, they don't provide updates, then its a rush wherever they need something from you. On completion day I had to call them to ask how they wanted my deposit despite already asking them the week prior and being ignored, was told they'd sent me an email with instructions the week befor, they hadn't and eventually confirmed they hadn't, then a rush to pay it over.
Still waiting for my cashback from them which my mortgage paid to them with the funds for the house 3 weeks ago, I have to wait 2 weeks apparently for them to do a reconciliation. How can they not know if they've had the cashback or not!!!
Chased this 2 days later and got a really unprofessional and rude email from one of their directors. Avoid at all costs.

Appaling

They did not look properly at the mortgage offer and the wrong figures were used on my documents, when queried it was everyone else's fault but their own.
Multiple things went wrong with them but as another review states, they ring you on the day of completion telling you to pay their outstanding balance otherwise completion won't happen. They never tell you this prior so you can be prepared with the funds.
Also they requested my mortgage from Halifax before completion had even occured

Purchasing House

The team were great, right from the start. Communication was consistently good and the team were very clear with what was required for me. There was trust throughout the process which has made a potentially stressful process of buying a house a lot easier than expected. Would definitely use again if needed. Mark
