My experience was good overall, however, I would like to make the following comments:
- A couple of times I had to ring to get an update on progress. As someone who has not sold a house for many years, I would have appreciated regular updates, even if it was that there had been no progress.
- The person we dealt with appeared to have a default Out of Office message saying they were not in until Wednesday. At the start of the process, I forwarded emails I sent to another contact, which was frustrating. It would be better if there was a generic mailbox, rather than having to use personal ones during periods of absence. However, later in the process, emails were answered on days when I’d been advised the contact was not working. This was appreciated, however, if you are in the office, please turn off the Out of Office message.
- The professional fees were extremely reasonable.
- The contact person was very helpful and provided easily understood explanations.
