Andrew qualified as a Solicitor in 1993 and has had experience in many different types of legal work over the years from crime to conveyancing, business sales and purchases to commercial property. His clients have ranged from those facing imprisonment to Premier League footballers buying mansion houses. He believes, however, that all clients deserve access to legal advice and a first-rate service whatever their circumstances. Near the beginning of Andrew’s career, he regularly appeared in the Magistrates Court as a defence solicitor and has acted in serious criminal proceedings including conspiracy to supply drugs, robbery and even murder. Nowadays, Andrew helps clients to look after their affairs during their lifetime by advising them upon Lasting Powers of Attorney and putting the right kind of Will in place to meet their express wishes and their families’ needs and sometimes to avoid an otherwise unnecessary inheritance tax burden.
