AVOID - Awful Service and ingenuine claims were made to hide delays - Would rate 0 stars if I could

We were recommended this firm by our estate agent who told us it is one of the best firms in the country, however we received ingenuine claims which caused delays and stress causing many sleepless nights. We were due to complete on our property next week, however we have not even received the paperwork to sign to exchange which is now going to cause even more delays. Avoid using this firm if possible - not worth the stress and delays!

I have recently had my property remortgaged. I use Mr Darren Gill, from the beginning to the end Mr Gill ensured all was done correctly & in time. I can say I extremely impressed with Mr Gill's conduct & will definitely be using him again for future work.

Compassionate and intelligent lawyers

I cannot thank Knights enough for the help and support that they gave me. This includes the clerical and office staff, but in particular, of course, the lawyers that I met. When my husband left I had no idea who I should turn to for help but I chose Knights and will never regret having done so. In particular I must thank Alex of the family team who worked so hard on my behalf and who gave me so much support throughout, but the greatest thanks must go to Elizabeth Pugh. I had never heard of her before my divorce and now I will never forget her. The depth of her knowledge and her committment to lessening the emotional hurt in a divorce is clear. She is intelligent and leaves no room for potential mistakes. Thanks to her work and a wealth of experience I emerged from my divorce with confidence and dignity.

If you are brave enough to use Knights; make sure it is on a fixed price/ delivery basis. On time spent charging I was working with very in experienced solicitors but charged almost barrister rates.

Professional, prompt and knowledgable, mostly importantly handled my employment matter successfully and explained complex legal terminology and processes brilliantly.
Would definitely use again and highly recommend.

Absolute criminals only interested in robbing you

I had the unfortunate experience of dealing with this horrible criminal company. I used them for only 1 week where I did not received any communication or resulting updates from them. After the sale of my house fell through due to unfortunate circumstances on the buyers behalf, this company proceeded to steal over £1200 from me. Such untrustworthy and horrible criminals to deal with. Stay away and be warned

Horrific unprofessional awful behaviour

Absolutely unprofessional, took ages to get in touch and someone actually respond. Overcharged my dad and after he negotiated in less than a month inflated the price by £2,000 ! nearly doubled ! would NEVER use them again, overpriced for the service provided if can be called a service. Caused me so much stress, my daughter just paid them off to save me the hassle of ever having to contact this cow boy company again ! Bullying and threats, first line of action beware customers DO NOT USE THEM !

The most unprofessional solicitors I’ve dealt with to date. Very good at taking your money but delivering nothing. Our case has been going for 4 years with a build. Coffin Mew have done nothing but slow the process down, delaying everything along the way, just so that there is more correspondence to make them more money. And now we are trying to finalise, I’ve left numerous messages with our solicitor and with reception to call me back so we can push this over the line, and they are not interested.
Avoid at all costs.

Coffin Mew were excellent when helping us purchase our new home. Charlotte Goodson has been great. We were kept up to date and never had to chase anything. Very professional and helpful. About the only thing that has gone smoothly with our house purchase. We will definitely be using Coffin Mew again when we move in the future!

Awful costumer service. Not only they are slow answering they provide little to no support to the people that are paying to them. All they care is your money. Lost the property for their lack of support or problem resolution.

I had a terrible experience. Bad at communication and client care was awful even when I came to collect my documents not even a greeting or a handshake from solicitor called Yuriy Lysenko. After paying almost a grand in fees you can at least be polite to a paying client. If you have an uncomplicated immigration application just do it yourself!! I was far more informed about the process than the case worker.
