I chose Thursfields to deal with the sale of a friend's house (who sadly passed away) and was very pleased with the services provided by Carol O'Leary and Mandeep Saggu.
From the outset they were very professional and supportive throughout and maintained a professional and empathetic approach without question. Always available whether that be by telephone or email.
I felt my affairs were in very safe hands.

We sold a property in Liverpool and although the transaction took a very long time it was entirely due to delays caused by the other side. Without Thursfields constant pressure I believe it would have taken even longer. Really good service at a fair price.

We've used Thursfields three times for housing-related matters and we wouldn't use anyone else after three great experiences. Louise and Hannah have always been very helpful and timely with all responses. Explanations of complex issues is always greatly appreciated.
When you're using a great firm, you really notice how poor the other firms in the transaction are. All of the delays in our transaction were caused by the other two solicitors on each side, both of which had half the work to do compared to Thursfields (we bought and sold, and the other two were end of chain).

I made contact with Thursfields in October'23 to help me with Divorce mediation and prevent court proceedings. Right from my very first meeting with Abi Holden, she commenced dealing with my case immediately and my worries dispersed. She was totally professional throughout and provided me with crystal clear advice and guidance. Responses to questions and emails were dealt with sameday or within 24 hours. We asked Thursfields Kidderminster to administer my mom's estate after we had 2 very good experiences with Thursfields Sedgley for the same thing, unfortunately this office shut down. We originally met with Cerith who estimated 4-6 K to administer the "fairly straitforward estate". Unfortunately for us he went on to be promoted to Partner so our affairs were passed to another Solicitor. She immediately started to increase the estimated cost for a "Complex estate" however we had already accepted to use them. Then after a few months the estimate was 7-8K then 9-10K we are now at 13.5K and still not finished. We have also had to hire the services of an accountant as recommended by her for tax purposes. I have informed them after receiving our latest bill that we will be making an official complaint and if necessary going to the Legal Ombudsman.

Over the past 9 months Abi Holden in the family law team has been helping me get through my divorce. She was really attentive throughout the process, very responsive and always willing to take a call. She was super organised and always actioned everything as soon as possible. This made a challenging experience much easier. I would recommend her to anyone.

I was disappointed with the service I received during the sale & purchase of my old & new houses. It was a rather frustrating experience, hampered by poor communication, poor standards of attention to detail across important documents & what felt like an impersonal & detached attitude.
The quotes, bills and completion statements did not transparently correlate, were inconsistent and made checking the financial charges imposed difficult (which I felt I had to do as Id lost trust in them due to the poor attention to detail).

Zoe Perry has been dealing with a Will/Trust fund (Thursfields have dealt with it for 30 years) I notified her about my new details twice, yet when the trustees moved to a new solicitor 2 years ago, she never let me know. They are also refusing to give me any information, saying I’m not mentioned in the Will/Trust, which I’ve sent them photographic proof that I’m a beneficiary. I’ve recently found out from the new solicitor’s that Zoe Perry didn’t send my details to them in the files - outrageous. I’m reporting them to the SRA.

Unhelpful and useless service. Wish we were never recommended this firm. 6.5months to try to obtain a small piece of land yielded no result(s). In fact when we expressed our disappointment with their so called service they wrote back with a rude and condersending bite back. Glad we’ve now sacked them.

Having applied for probate myself without using a solicitor, I still needed one for a couple of other things. I chose Thursfields Sedgley because they are local to me. My experience with them has been brilliant! They have helped with certifying a will and authorising an affidavit. The prices are very reasonable, the staff are friendly and accommodating and are very knowledgeable. Thank you Thursfields 🙂

I had a terrible experience. Bad at communication and client care was awful even when I came to collect my documents not even a greeting or a handshake from solicitor called Yuriy Lysenko. After paying almost a grand in fees you can at least be polite to a paying client. If you have an uncomplicated immigration application just do it yourself!! I was far more informed about the process than the case worker.
