Absolute criminals only interested in robbing you

I had the unfortunate experience of dealing with this horrible criminal company. I used them for only 1 week where I did not received any communication or resulting updates from them. After the sale of my house fell through due to unfortunate circumstances on the buyers behalf, this company proceeded to steal over £1200 from me. Such untrustworthy and horrible criminals to deal with. Stay away and be warned

Incompetent and unprofessional

Incompetent and unprofessional solicitor whose delays and laziness cost us £150,000 personally due to repeated mistakes on documents! Never answers calls or returns calls and if she does take a call she is put out, rude and unhelpful! We current have a complaint being compiled to submit to the law society! Avoid this solicitor at all costs rude and unhelpful

AVOID - Impartial , poor communication - painful and stressful process

AVOID - Especially if you are a BELLWAY customer. They are completely impartial and act for the developer because of the amount of money they’re clearly making from Bellway recommendations. Painful experience throughout. Got charged the same for a legal conveyancer rather than a solicitor. Dealt with Shona Archer - extremely poor communication, rarely ever answered the phone, constantly out of office. She didn’t ask the proper conveyancing questions which we had to probe her to ask. Raised various disputes over land and conveyancing plans, she was quite clearly on the developers side. Eventually, she lost all contact with us and we didn’t even hear from her on the day of completion which was pretty shocking - despite her being in the office. We were also overcharged on our completion statement - thankfully we picked this up. AVOID - Pay the same money and go somewhere who’ll actually ask the proper questions and be on YOUR SIDE.

House move

Nam is honest, reliable and very proactive. He was a pleasure to work with. This review is not a reflection on him, rather the solicitors dealing with my house move before they left.

Unfortunately the solicitor I dealt with prior to him was constantly on leave. They rarely replied to emails and never to phone calls.
Due to their lack of professionalism, I had a 6 hour wait without a house whilst they sorted their paperwork out. Obviously this delayed everyone else in the chain on a very stressful day without this added chaos.

Hopefully this problem won't happen again for others.

Pretty efficient

Considering what a nightmare service conveyancers can sometimes give, I'd say Coffin Mew provides a very good service. Prompt responses to enquiries, and I could generally speak to my solicitor within a day if I needed to ring. I would definitely recommend them to others. I've just knocked a star off because there was the odd occasion when they asked for things I'd already sent back or responded to, but I'd rather too much activity than too little!

On many occasions our solicitor did not respond to requests to phone us.
Our ongoing purchase of the Property fell, and it was put back on the market by the Vendors.
Only speedy action by ourselves redeemed the situation.

The most unprofessional solicitors I’ve dealt with to date. Very good at taking your money but delivering nothing. Our case has been going for 4 years with a build. Coffin Mew have done nothing but slow the process down, delaying everything along the way, just so that there is more correspondence to make them more money. And now we are trying to finalise, I’ve left numerous messages with our solicitor and with reception to call me back so we can push this over the line, and they are not interested.
Avoid at all costs.

Coffin Mew were excellent when helping us purchase our new home. Charlotte Goodson has been great. We were kept up to date and never had to chase anything. Very professional and helpful. About the only thing that has gone smoothly with our house purchase. We will definitely be using Coffin Mew again when we move in the future!

Awful costumer service. Not only they are slow answering they provide little to no support to the people that are paying to them. All they care is your money. Lost the property for their lack of support or problem resolution.

I had a terrible experience. Bad at communication and client care was awful even when I came to collect my documents not even a greeting or a handshake from solicitor called Yuriy Lysenko. After paying almost a grand in fees you can at least be polite to a paying client. If you have an uncomplicated immigration application just do it yourself!! I was far more informed about the process than the case worker.
