Creation of a short term licence

At short notice we needed assistance to create a short term licence for a third party to rent part of our community sports club facilities. We approached our contact Ben Bourne at Ellis-Fermur & Negus who kindly put us in touch with Luke Tattersall-Smith. Luke grasped the requirements rapidly and prepared the licence and conducted negotiations with the licensee professionally and to a satisfactory conclusion for all parties.

I cannot thank Tim enough for his help with a complex, protracted case. Even at it's lowest points, Tim always gave me hope we would get through it and he was always calm, professional and put me at ease. Would recommend him to anyone.

Professional and caring

Tim Jones did a first rate job from beginning to resolution of a will dispute. He gave us full confidence through the initial meetings to the day itself.
He was fully prepared for the outcome, saving time and money through meticulous preparation.
Would have no hesitation in recommending.

Superb service from start to finish

Tim Jones is a consummate professional standing head and shoulders above any solicitor I have dealt with. His is hugely intelligent with a personal and compassionate nature in parallel with his tenaciousness to always be on the front foot. It was a real pleasure to have Tim by my side. He is a game-changer, his output is world class and he is a true gentleman!

Excellent service

Tim has been excellent throughout this process. He has kept me updated at all times and has been prompt when I emailed for any updates. He has shown empathy and understanding due to the circumstances I found myself in. Tim has also supported myself with introducing a solictor to register the trusts with the HMRC. Excellent and thankyou.

Absolutely useless.
Rang them about a matter, was told someone would call me back, they never did. Rang again the next day, same thing. Rang again the next day, same thing. Went in to see what was going on, was told no one was available, they would call me. They never did.
For some reason I later approached them again about a different matter, was told someone would ring me back. They never did.

Extremely Poor service, continuously having to chase for answers to simple questions.

We understand that there can be many dependencies when completing a house purchase but we would expect a response to queries that they should be able to answer.

The solicitor assigned to our purchase had left the company meaning our purchase was moved to the Beeston branch and we were not informed until a few months later after continuously chasing for information

This purchase has been a stressful process and Ellis-Fermor & Negus have done nothing to make it easier.

I would strongly advise to find another solicitors
