Absolutely outstanding service

Rob Meredith was absolutely fantastic. We have moved many times and always used the same solicitor previously, but their service standards had dipped and several people had recommend Rob to us. We discovered that service we'd have rated as 8/10 previously was actually more like a 4/10. Rob is responsive, straight talking, practical, and really listened to what we wanted and needed to help us get a very difficult conveyancing situation (due to other parties) over the line. His proactive approach helped save the entire chain from collapse and his patience and tenacity when dealing with unresponsive and incompetent professionals was astonishing! He was simply a pleasure to deal with, and we would not hesitate to sing his praises from the rooftops, genuinely. He made all the difference and we felt in safe hands throughout. We can't thank him enough and whilst we never want to move house again, there is no one else that we would want to have looking after us!

above and beyond

I had the absolute pleasure of dealing with Tim when selling the house I used to share with my ex!
he made me feel at ease with all the legal questions and explained everything to me in a way I would understand clearly and felt comfortable with.
I never felt like my little case was not important to him
he kept in regular contact with updates as he got them and never had to keep pushing for answers
I came out of my case a lot better off then I thought I was going to be
Tim has been such a great person to deal with I would recommend him to anyone in my situation
My overall experience couldnt have been better

Awful

Had the misfortune to use the Belper conveyancing department for my recent house sale and purchase . Very poor communication throughout the whole process . I have had my completion statement and the balance of money owed to me but despite showing the estate agent's invoice as paid - as yet they haven't received their payment.
Moving is stressful and having to constantly chase conveyancers massively increased the stress levels. Queries that I raised early on in the process weren't pursued which became evident once I'd completed.
Formally complained about aspects of the service - but received no acknowledgement of the complaint, so I had to chase that too ! Very disappointed.

A****** Fantastic service received from Rachel Brooking from start to finish. She kept me informed throughout the entire process.
Im not one to normally leave reviews but I've used a number of different conveyancers in the past and the the service levels I received this time definitely deserved a special mention. Highly recommended and will 100% be using her again in the future. Thank You :)

Had to post a review due to my recent experiences with Ellis-Fermor & Negus. Whilst rearranging my title deeds, I made a silly mistake and had to cancel their services. Despite me wasting their time, I was still treated with professionalism and care. What better represents a business than how they treat you when you aren't paying them? I was really impressed with the way they handled my case, and would recommend them to anyone.
