Always very happy

We used the Charity Link Will Month donating to Cynthia Spencer. We received the same level of support as if we were paying. We have used Franklins for house moves and my parents Wills, always very happy.

I would recommend Franklin’s to anyone, they were so helpful and responsive with each part of the buying process. A special thanks to Lee for going above and beyond in the process and made it as stressful as possible-free as possible!

I used franklins for my recent house sale and new home purchase as I had used them previously. I asked up front that the communication was clear given tight deadlines and was somewhat disappointed as communication was limited. However, following issues with the builders solicitor Franklin’s did manage to turn the transaction around on time and we completed on the agreed date.

Our experience with Franklins Solicitors for conveyancing was brilliant. Maya was great, acting promptly and professionally throughout the process. Despite a tight deadline, she ensured everything was handled efficiently, allowing us to achieve completion on time. We are very happy with the service—thank you so much.

This company does not even deserve 1 star. Absolutely appalling service especially as it is one of the more expensive solicitors within Milton Keynes. Myself and my partner are first time buyers, our experience was made especially awful by Sharon Grist who does not have an ounce of customer service skills and I think she does not realise that she is fulfilling a service for clients so should conduct herself with politeness and at least some professionalism. Her responses to many of our emails made us feel like an inconvenience to her. Often never even replying to emails with a greeting. At one point, after we had asked what was going on with our case as we were two months in to the process and we had been left completely in the dark and had never once been able to get Sharon on the phone or speak to anyone that could give us a clear understanding of what was going on, Sharon emailed us and instead of reassuring us that our case was being dealt with she told us that if we wish to instruct different solicitors then to do so. This was 2 months after taking our case so as you can imagine for two first time buyers this was quite distressing. Sharon also attempted to incorrectly charge us an additional £900 and when asked to recorrect this charge she failed to even apologise for her mistake. She also forgot to process our land registry tax form which has ended with us being fined which the company has agreed to pay, as they should. Our help to buy ISA bonus form was also not processed which has ended with us being without hundreds of pounds which was meant to be used to furnish our new home. I would also like to point out that Sharon is listed as a senior manager at Franklins so I’m sure a certain level of professionalism and experience would be expected. I would not recommend Franklins to anyone I know and I would advise anyone who is thinking of instructing this company to not bother wasting their money and look elsewhere.

Originally thought Franklins had done a good job on my property purchase in August 2022. Found out in April of this year all of the management fee accounts since 2017 had not been finalised leaving me liable for all of the adjustments. So far I am over £1300 out of pocket an there are still another 2.5 years worth of adjustments prior to my ownership i will be liable for. All I have had feom Franklins since April is that they are contacting the sellers solicitors it was their remit to protect me from this debt and they don't care at all.
