Above and beyond service

I can’t not begin to Thank Lyn, Lucy and their team at the Harrogate branch. Absolutely amazing service from start to finish. Moving home can be a stressful experience but these lovely ladies take all that unnecessary stress away. They’re professional and extremely driven in getting your sale to go through as smoothly as possible. It was such a lovely change to be able to sit back and know your purchase was going through with no stone unturned but without any delay. These ladies are wonder women in the field and we are already planning on using them for another purchase. I now wouldn’t use anyone else.

We highly recommend this branch to anyone who like us is wanting to make a purchase or sale go as smoothly as possible.

A great experience and a lovely team

Moving home is always stressful but the team at LCF Harrogate were fantastic. Beyond helpful, they made sure my house sale, (which was a bit complicated) went smoothly. Professional and helpful from start to finish, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them. Thanks Lynne, Lucy, Marie and the team.

I can’t even begin to explain how disgracefully poor my experience was with LCF.

Even when trying to make a valid complaint through their very own complaints procedure as shown on their website, Mr Stell (one of the Managing Directors) will do anything to dodge you. I’ve been waiting over a whole month for Mr Stell to properly let me know that he is looking into my case…

Poor communication, lack of ownership of mistakes and pure incompetence are just a few things I can say about this company.

I’m now having to go through an alternative complaint body to even get listened to.

I wish I could leave a 4 or 5 star review like most people about this company but I really think they dropped the ball with my case.

Where to start with the poor attitude and incompetence of Team Blue at LCF Residential. I have never dealt with a company that have been so awful and rude for asking simple questions for first time buyers. Not only did they make you feel like a burden for querying things, they got many things wrong on the completion statement that was only picked up by myself as the client. They need to re-train their staff to understand their job and also work on their customer skills. When they did eventually answer the phone, they would never apologise for their mistakes, raise their voice to speak over you & belittle you as a person. Once I said I would not use their service again, their employee replied with "good take your service elsewhere" which I think just says it all. Please read similar reviews with the same comments. I really hope they take this on board.

Poor Service and no accountability

As first-time buyers, we had no idea how the process of exchange should look like. Team Blue and their poor timekeeping and communication skills made us homeless for few days.
We have given 5 weeks notice to exchange and complete. We were encouraged to move this forward but we have decided not to. When we have flagged a lack of communication and updates on the progress, the person managing that team said, “I can exchange and complete on the same day”. Unfortunately, she could not! Conveniently she went on annual leave on the day when we should receive our keys and left the junior team members to deal with the exchange. Which was a huge mistake! With almost a week delay we have moved into our first home. We have never heard any apologies instead we were told that we are making Sarah C and her team do work for free and they are not paid for calling our lender. Our official complaint had been ignored for almost 2 weeks and only after following up again we have received an acknowledgement email stating that they will get back to us in 7 days time frame.

Excellent, efficient service from Julie and her team once again.

We have benefited from Julie & her teams services a couple of times now and are delighted once again by her personal, efficient service. The first time we were selling our home but a little undecided about which new home to buy. In the end Julie and her team exchanged and completed on our new home in 2 days so that we didn't have to put our belongings in storage and move into our motor home. So we remembered this excellent service the next time we needed a lawyer. Thank you!!

Appalling low customer standards

It took them almost 6 months to close the sale of a Leasehold flat. The solicitors were unapproachable and made numerous mistakes due to lack of qualification and attention to detail.

The management under direction of Mr. Simon Stell - https://lcf.co.uk/people/partners/simon-stell-2/ - was lazy, unprepared and could not even find the files of my case mistaking it with another completely different case. It's disturbing that this kind of people can manage legal matters and are not subject to any kind of professional control nor standards. An absolute fiasco, and an expensive one.

A amazing team who have gone beyond what they had to for my family in regards to selling my property and purchasing our new home. The Residential team Indigo under huge pressure with major complications with the sell of my property due to failures of other solicitors, worked wonders to get it resolved for us and worked in their own time to make sure we could move. I would highly recommend this fantastic team to act on your behalf with their high quality of work, willingness to answer any questions and determination to work to the best of their ability for their clients. Amazing service, care and attention

We come back time and time again to LCF- primarily because of how they care for their clients. Our recent house purchase was overseen by Julie Davis, her knowledge and professionalism is simply outstanding. Avoid at all costs. Poor communication. Full of excuses. No responsibility for delays caused by themselves. Choosing LCF Residential was the worst decision we made. 3 weeks after completion and still trying to resolve issues.
