A long but smooth process.
The process of moving house appears to have become longer and more involved than the last time I did it. Even with my move being fairly straightforward with a short chain, it still took months. There are also many more questions to answer now it seems. Caroline was very helpful and progressed the many elements of the move smoothly and with care and attention to detail. Always friendly and nice to speak to.
I can only imagine the hoops we'll all be jumping through when I next move. Hopefully that's a very long time in the future! I would certainly use Rudlings again if the need arose.

Lack of communication and updates. Slow.
Disappointed at how little we heard from this firm. We had to chase every step of the way otherwise we wouldn’t have been updated on anything and nothing would have progressed.

Ms Victoria Josif (Partner) was investigated; and found wanting, by the Legal Ombudsman following my complaint for – 1. Disclosure of confidential information to a colleague. 2. Providing a client with inaccurate information on three occasions. 3. Failure to progress a request in a timely manner. 4. Poor communications. For these failing the Legal Ombudsman recommended the firm pay compensation. The recommended compensation was increased for failing to respond to the complaint made on 29 Mar 18. A response to my complaint was received from Stephen McGrath (Partner) on 19 Sep 18, but only after a letter was sent to the firm on 14 Sep 18 by the Legal Ombudsman asking why they had not responded. I would not recommend the services of Rudlings Wakelam, especially as the three people involved in the complaint were the three partners!
