Cannot workout simple maths calculations

STAY WELL AWAY. After signing declaration form for Haqnawaz Khan to act on behalf of my spousal visa claim I heard nothing back for three weeks! My baby was sick on the ventilator for 2 months with doctors saying she is not going to make it. I was desperate and called in every day to speak to him. The receptionist and other colleagues would pass on the message to him he wound never call back. Going to the hospital everyday and seeing and hearing what the doctors told me was the worst time of my life. I needed my husband for the support urgently and I cried all the time when calling them up as I knew my application could be expedited given the serious situation of my sick baby girl. A month went by and he never called back. I begged him to work out whether I met the financial criteria and submit my application considering doctors were telling me my baby didnt have long left. I wanted my husband to meet her. Anyway after a month one of the receptionist picked up and She put me on hold and then stated Haqnawaz is asking why am I calling? I informed her that I am a client and it has been a month of him not returning my calls and kicking me down when I am already breaking. He then gave her a message to give to me which was "Haqnawaz said you dont meet the inancial criteria and if u want to apply for a visitor visa intead for ur husband then Haqnawaz is too busy for that". Just like that my world came crashing down as my baby lost a month out on seeing her father and I didn't know whether she will ever get to meet him. As im not a solicitor myself I thought I didnt meet the financial requirement as that is what Haqnawaz said. Well it turns out I did meet the criteria as I went to another solicitor on derby street a day later . I put in a doctors note for my application to be expedited due to the seriousness of my baby and my husband was hear within three weeks of submitting my application alhamdulillah! Bearing in mind covid etc and delays I still got my spousal visa granted due to my baby being poorly. Now if officials can see my situation and give a quick response how could a fellow muslim not understand? It also goes to show how this firm cant even workout a simple maths calculation. Moreover this is not just about a service this is about humanity. To not call back a desperate mother who's baby is sick on a ventilator and then a month later to say they will not be acting on behalf of me was cruel and heartbreaking. All that time my husband lost out on! Stay well away. These people dont know anything about visas. P.S I should have known how poor they would be considering it is a small tacky place with two chairs which they call the 'waiting area' and one room which is shared by 4/5 solicitors between themselves!

Great communication, Tenacious and experienced

I would like to commend the service of Mike Pilkington of Knights Law Solicitors for handling my case with such integrity and understanding.
Mike acted successfully on my behalf in a Tenancy deposit case against my Landlord. He provided great insight and advice regarding the case and what to expect, and was compassionate to my cause, and didn't look down on my case.
Mike pursued my case with ease, diligence and great professional knowledge. The process was smooth from start to finish, with Mike taking charge of all the processes, and providing adequate feedback to me.
I would happily recommend Mike Pilkington of Knights Law to anyone in need of a knowledgeable and approachable Solicitor.

Landlord Dispute

I would like to provide a 5 star review for the services offered by Mike Pilkington of Knights Law in our recent dispute with our Landlord. We found ourselves in an extremely stressful situation requiring professional advice. We had never had to seek legal advice prior to this situation, so were initially very cautious and anxious about taking this step. Mike provided us with not only a compassionate ear to voice our concerns but reassurance and guidance right through the process. Mike's superior knowledge of the responsibilities and legal duties of the Landlord allowed us to build a solid case. Having Mike onside immediately relieved the stress of the situation as he expertly navigated the process including all communication with our Landlord and his appointed solicitor. We are delighted with the positive outcome as our Landlord settled out of court due to the overwhelming evidence Mike was able to produce in our defence. I would not hesitate to recommend Mike and Knights Law to anyone considering them as their appointed solicitor and will, if ever needed in the future, use them again.
