Sale of 61 Lowry Hill Road, CA3 0DH

I had to pay a charge for being an overseas client. They sent an imortant document by airmail for signatures. After a few days they realised this would be time consuming and then sent the document by email. It was returned promptly by me by courier service. Payment to me of the house sale was made on 13 December. Deductions included GBP2400, Estate Agents fees. Payment of Estate Agent's fee had aleady been paid. 17 days later on 30 December repayment of the 2400 was finally mad. The delays i knew about had cost me loss of interest and when informed was met with complete silence. In other words, total indifference in dealing with other peoples money.
It seem to me that their lackadaisical approach in dealing with other peoples money was possibly consistent with how the firm was run and in all liklihood there were other unnecessay delays of which I was unaware : the sale in question was most straigtforward with no morgages, no chain and an agreed price

conveyance of rural property

there were delays initially because the 0nline documents hadn't gone through due to their size but this wasn't followed up by the representative and it took several calls and emails to get the case underway. there were then several changes of legal representative which made progress slow; however when Lizzie Riley took over the case things have moved forward steadily to completion.
Lizzie was on the case and communicated well once she took over; she was pleasant on the phone and timely with her email responses and instilled confidence with her explanations.

Great team

Christine and her colleagues are personable, professional and efficient. They handled our sale and subsequent purchase effectively, and delivered on both on time, despite numerous challenges along the way. Our face to face meetings at the office were informal and friendly, and we always felt welcome to ask questions and/or make requests

Saved the day for us (well our trip). Very quick thinking and fit us in the next day. The only solicitor in the area who was able to think of the idea. We'll have to bring you something back from Germany!

Thanks again.
