My wife and I completed the purchase of our first home in the UK today with Roxy representing us on the transaction.
Roxy has been amazing throughout the process, going to tremendous lengths to ensure that we were involved, fully informed, and understood each step of the transaction as this was our first UK property purchase experience. All of Roxy's communication has been timeous, clear and detailed and the depth of her legal knowledge is clear. Her advice on issues where we had to take decisions has been both practical and sound.
We honestly cannot thank her enough and would highly recommend Roxy and Capstone to anyone looking for a solicitor.

We consulted Matt Wright twice, once to prepare wills and once to prepare Powers of Attorney. He dealt with both matters in an exceptionally professional but friendly way. He explained any complications clearly, prepared the papers quickly and responded immediately to questions.

Needed to get an ID1 form completed quickly for a house sale, called, and was booked in the next day. The next morning I had to change the time of the appointment, and they got back to me within 15 minutes to confirm.

Claire Speake has carried out both residential and commercial conveyancing for our family over many years so she came highly recommended to us. And thank goodness we had the priviledge or working with this highly professional, empathetic, supportive, thorough and most efficient solicitor representing us as our initial vendor could not have been more difficult to deal with. Claire minimised our stress levels going off radar, never tired of us emailing and phoning and supported us with calmness and dignity. Unlike some solicitors, Claire'e communication is personal and you would think you were her only Client and your problems her only issues for that day. Claire's work is brilliant and we certainly would not entertain having any other firm representing us. We only hope Claire is still working when we decide to move again..... in a few decades. Thank you Claire for all you did, it was hugely appreciated.

We've worked with Claire Speake on three house purchases (one to completion, two to exchange) and a house sale. She is a dream to work with. Incredibly experienced, efficient, knowledgeable, supportive and personable. She helped us so much through our first experience of buying and selling which was hugely valuable for us. She never misses a thing, kept on top of the process, had great relationships with other solicitors and our estate agents. When we had two purchases fall through at exchange she did all she could to challenge those decisions but when ultimately that wasn't possible she was entirely compassionate. We will always go to Capstone, and Claire, for future purchases and sales.

I came to Capstone Solicitors after shockingly bad service from another firm. Claire Speake (conveyancing) was a breath of fresh air. Her competence, efficiency and excellent clear communication all the way through filled me with confidence and restored my faith that some solicitors do know what they're doing! I not only wouldn't hesitate to use them again, but they will be my first choice next time I need solicitors.
