We transferred over to John part of the way through the house buying process and it was like night and day. John was so much more communicative, proactive and supportive than our previous solicitor, and we couldn't have had an easier time of it between then and completion. Great stuff.

We dealt with Lisa from the start. We had a great f2f interaction, which then continued onto email. She kept us consistently updated with the progress of our sale (via TELCON/email), whilst also reassuring us during the later stages of the sale that it would come to fruition.
Highly recommended to anyone and would use again in a heart beat.

I instructed Lisa Butcher for the sale of my flat and she was fantastic throughout. We had a few delays and Lisa was great at chasing my buyers solicitors and keeping me up to date. Any questions I had were answered very quickly and, unlike experience with other solicitors, she did not condescend at all. If Lisa was out of the office Kayleigh was equally as brilliant at keeping me updated. I would definitely use them both again.

We sold our house with Marie at FSM Old Town. It was a tricky transaction as the sellers of the house we were buying messed around and dragged it out for five months! Marie and Caroline helped us to keep our sanity and did thier best to fight on our behalf. It was a tough transaction but we felt that FSM were on our side. Really glad we went with the local firm and not the call centre style distant conveyancers as being able to speak to them personally and to pop into the office to sign paperwork was a godsend!

I didnt feel like they gave me the "Specialist advice" like they said they would. I used them to resolve a personal dispute but half way down the line they said that my chances of winning we low, despite telling me the contrary at the start of the case. I know its the job of a solicitor to advise you of any changes, but nothing had changed. It was like they were happy to give me the sunshine and rainbows before getting my cash but after, I felt they changed their stance.
