My case handler Kayleigh invited me and my parents in for a meeting and provided in depth information about the process. She was very informative and happy to ask any questions, signposted effectively and always checked in by contacting me regularly. Her kind approach and swift ability to answer any questions put our minds at ease and the completion of the sale moved swiftly once we overcame the issue with the required documents. I would definitely use again for any future endeavours, Kayleigh is a real asset to the team.

We had to deal with multiple people, sometimes 10 people on copy, all with Trainee as their title.

I have nothing but praise for all the team that have handled the sale of the house. Particularly Tracy, but all who I came into contact with were pleasant to deal with, friendly and professional. Five months plus into a leasehold purchase, information came to light that meant that it could not proceed any further.

When I politely expressed disappointment to my solicitor about the length of time that it had taken to get this information and that I was unsure where the delay had arisen, the solicitor dealing with my sale and purchase had a complete strop that I dared to speak out. Not only did my purchase not go ahead, she then refused to deal with my sale any further which was almost ready to complete and the file was transferred to a different office on the other side of Leeds.

I understand that a solicitor / client relationship can break down but the wording of her email to me informing me of this was in my view, unprofessional. I’ve worked for mortgage lenders for over 30 years and I have never spoken to anyone the way she did to me. If I had done. I’d have probably had my very first warning. I hope she regretted the wording the second she hit send but no apology has been forthcoming.

I’ve used Wilson’s in Horsforth twice before without any issues but I will NEVER use them again nor recommend them as I have done before.

To add insult to injury, she then sent me a bill for the failed purchase & tried to overcharge me by £330.

The support staff at Horsforth however are lovely as were the staff at the Whitkirk office.

We have been supported by Wilson’s, namely Tracy Ambler, with the sales of an inheritance property and most recently the sale of our home.

Selling a house can be a difficult process what with the legal aspects but also the emotional attachments too. Tracy supported us all the way. She explained the process and time scales involved. We were supported in completing the forms. We were made to feel very involved which was helped by the updates from Tracy, on all aspects of the sale. She even fought our corner once or twice.

I can highly recommend Tracy, and the convenience team at branch near to Colton roundabout.

Alicia was very professional and extremely helpful. The only slight issue was when Rose left and an email I sent to Rose detailing changes to the Will was lost in the process of Rose leaving. That was a minor issue as Alicia made all the required changes and advised that Wilsons will store the original Will free of charge.

An excellent service and I have recommended Wilsons to family and friends.
