Morrish put on notice of allegations of improper conduct

Thomas Wade Morrish was put on notice of allegations of improper conduct. I also experienced discriminatory attitudes and comments during my dealings with Morrish.

I used this firm fir my mothers will My mother my grand mother and my great grand parents used this firm. Morrish is. no longer worthy of the reputation it once had.

Do not trust this firm. They’re not even worthy of one star.

Customer service.

I can highly recommend Morrish and co solicitors of Yeadon high street , I had a problem I needed help with and first of all the lady at reception was very sympathetic and patient while I explained. She told me that that someone would phone me the next day and sure enough they did. A very pleasant man named Mark helped me above and beyond my expectations. He was polite, patient and gave me very useful information and how to take steps to resolve my problem. I will always use this company in the future.

Avoid at all costs.

Absolutely atrocious company.
We had an absolutely horrendous experience with them from a conveyancing perspective. 24 hours before completion our appointed solicitor informed us that the solicitors appointed by our buyers had not completed the necessary documents. You might ask the question why this was not clarified by somebody I was paying to represent me. There were numerous completely disgraceful elements to my experience. I sent an eight page complaint, outlining how much financial and emotional upset this has caused myself and my family. Horrified to receive such an arrogant, dismissive and cold reply from a senior member of staff Paul Scholey informing me that ‘Morrish reject my complaint’. We did encounter support from Mark Laird who is a competent and strong staff member but the organisation are so foul that I don’t believe it would even be worth taking on his services. There are far better, much more competent, and without doubt ethically driven companies to represent you in the conveyancing field. This is not one of them. It’s no wonder that at the time of writing 45% of reviews on trust pilot, have a one star rating and are negative. I would be utterly ashamed to have written the reply to the complaint that I received.

Awful service at Morrish solicitors

I am not happy at all with Morrish solicitors service because the solicitor charged me £1350 for nothing without being honest with me in the face to face meeting we had about my case.
I brought him two weeks before our meeting the package with all my documentation for unfair dismissal and compensation claim for bullying at my work place that got me ill. He didn't tell me in the meeting I won't be successful but extra charged me for other two hours with the excuse to read the documents I sent him on email.
He knew I lost my job and I didn't have any wage. He told me I won't be successful in any of the claims saying I will be only for the personal injury claim. He wanted to charge me 35% percentage of my personal injury claim if I will win it which is unbelievable because no solicitor charge 35% on a personal injury successful claim no win no fee.
I am very upset because of this solicitor my mother gave me £1350 all her money from her pension to pay his fee to help me to start my claims. I remained without money for food because of this solicitor. I gave all the money my mother had of her pension to help me and I remained without money to buy food and pay off my bills. I cried for days about this matter. I was dismissed unfairly from my job for something I didn't do after working for 7 years for them.
The solicitor didn't care of my situation knowing I lost my job and I don't have any wage. He knew exactly all my awful situation I was going through because of him I didn't eat for days. I am very very upset because all these money I gave to him for nothing could help me to pay my bills and to buy food and medication for me. I need to buy my medicines and I must to eat once a day because due to my stress and anxiety at work i have long term persistent symptoms with chest pain, short breathing, dizziness, lack of appetite and insomnia with lack of sleep.
I don't recommend Morrish solicitors to anybody after this bad experience I went through. I never lost my job in my life, I never got dismissed unfairly and I never needed an employment solicitor service. It was my first time that happened and it was a really awful unforgettable experience. I can't believe how he couldn' t be honest with me from the beginning and how he doesn't have on his conscience to charge a person who remains without her job and doesn't have any wage and because of him this person remained without eating and with no medication for days giving her last monies that were her mother's pension to a solicitor who only took advantage of her desperate situation.
Very upset, very unhappy to lose all these money that were my mother's last monies and very disappointed for lack of honesty. I cried for days because of this solicitor and because I didn't have any money to buy food. He told me it will be no win no fee but in reality he charged me £1350 without caring of others life problems. Not happy at all. I will never forget this bad experience that made me cry for days and made my heart crying. Very upsetting. I can't believe people don't do their job with their heart to help the others, but they do it only for money. I never behaved like this with anybody and I did volunteering and worked for free all my life helping people who couldn't make it just because I wanted to make them happy. Money aren't the most important thing in life, but your happiness and others happiness is the most important. When you make your customer happy it means you did a good think for someone and you left a good memory to someone about yourself. Making your customer happy it means you are doing your job with your heart. This is how I think, what I did in my life and what I like to do. I can't believe there are people who leave their client starving to overcharge him for money without doing anything for him. Don't recommend Morrish solicitors to anybody never ever.
