Disappointed customer

Feedback from recent house purchase Throughout my experience of buying my house with Gads and Noble there have been numerous errors that could easily have been avoided and which could have helped me as a first time buyer with no knowledge have a smoother, less stressful experience. I feel I as the buyer have had to ask questions which could have been explained to me. There has also been a catalog of errors which were not acceptable. I have been sent the wrong documents and asked to sign them. They had different peoples names on and an address in leeds( this is surely a gdpr breech!) Not acceptable ! I was then sent a bill with my interest in the “wrong” coloumn so it was added on to my bill instead of being taken off A mistake I had to point out which isn’t good enough. I then had to chase you for a link to pay the bill rather than it being sent with the bill. I settled on time and have now been rung at work and been told another mistake has been made and that I owe £850, I was then rung 10 minutes later to be told this was wrong and that it was £600 when ringing the lady said sorry she had corrected the mistakes when I informed her- I shouldn’t have to inform you of mistakes that shouldn’t have been made. I still haven’t been sent a link for the extra amount! I think someone should be checking this work before it goes out. Also the lady signs off with Ta! Not very professional! I would like to hear your thoughts on this feedback and not from the lady I have dealt with. Thank you

Too slow

They took more than 4 months for adding additional borrower to the title deed. No clear communication with solicitors working part time and passing file around. We got there in the end. I ended up with GN law through homeward legal direction. They take £180 for doing literally nothing. When there was a dispute with final completion statement, they didn’t even step in to resolve.

The team at GN law and my assigned lawyer Mrs Panesar specifically provided excellent customer service from start to finish of the process. I highly recommend.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

I have experienced problems from start to finish, please avoid this company and these solicitors at all costs. There was little to no communication throughout the process and countless mistakes made that caused delays and issues further down the line. You cannot speak to either solicitor on the phone as you will be constantly told they are 'busy' or 'in a meeting'. The whole process was frustrating and tedious. I was constantly drafting emails and doing their work for them, begging for them to forward on the information I had provided to the relevant people. I found the solicitors rude, lazy, and they act like you are an inconvenience to them, despite charging a considerable fee. Please spend your money elsewhere!!

Simple house Purchase

Waited more than a Year for a simple property purchase, while seller was impatient and wanted to to pull out, endless requirements from your own solicitor and they don't even prioritize you. Had to go through multiple solicitors as they fired staff or they left not so sure.Bad experience and not even cheap. Life long lesson learned.

GN Law Review

The firm in Huddersfield definitely needs additional solicitors. We felt that there were delays in answering E-mails when one of them was unavailable. The Secretary, Susan Philips is excellent and successfully liaised, when necessary and is professional, proactive, efficient, friendly and provides a first class service to Customers. Without her we would have been even more frustrated waiting for replies and up dates from the Solicitors.

Love Love Love ❤️

Do you enjoy non-existent service, long delays and pure incompetence? Then GN Law is for you.

Recommended by the estate agents for my property sale. Paulette and Sue assigned to the case.

I was honoured to be put on their Premium service from the get-go: completely hands off. So hands off in fact, that even Paulette and Sue didn’t ever put their hands on!

Fantastic for those that relish unanswered phone calls, lost documents and missing out onward chains.

Great that they also include ‘assisted end-of-life’ treatment as part of their service: Guaranteed to shave off a few years from your life expectancy.

Fun fact 1: Did you know… GN actually stands for Good for Nothing. It’s true!

Fun fact 2: Did you know… Paulette and Sue are world class ‘hide and seek’ players. I’m actually yet to find them after 7 months!

Highly recommend for those without a pulse!

The worst solicitor I have ever dealt with.
Uncontactable, constantly out of office or on annual leave. I only managed to speak to my solicitor Paulette twice in 6 months in what was a drawn out process (and was only for the purchase of a house, not the sale).
The receptionist Sue was rude and constantly huffing and puffing down the phone.
AVOID

If you want an efficient and contactable conveyancer who conforms to deadlines DO NOT use this company. Their sheer unprofessionalism and unnecessary delay in completion caused great inconvenience and loss of money for both parties. Pallette St Hilaire was the named conveyancer.

The people who purchased my property used this Firm. They ignored my solicitor for weeks, then said they had not received information which had been sent to the 6 weeks previously. The estate agent and my buyer were constantly chasing them too. On completion day they sent they also avoided my solicitor's calls for as long as they could. I have never heard of this firm but I certainly know who they are now and would never recommend them to anyone. They made the whole process more stressful than it needed to be, they do not seem to appreciate they are dealing with people's lives.

Currently dealing with GN law with a straight forward transfer of equity case.
Progress is incredibly slow. Trying to get an update is very challenging, and when you do they are far from informative, almost as if it’s not their problem in certain aspects.
I you can choose any other company to represent you. I may be doing the same the way things are going.
One star only because you can’t give any less.
