Wilfrid's Law acted for me when I sold a property via auction.
There were some issues with the conveyancing, some of which I ended up doing myself as they seemed vague on what to do. The whole saga took 7 months (209 days to complete even though the buyer was committed by contract to a 56 day completion. I even drove up to Bradford at the start of the transaction, a round trip of over 200 miles, to personally hand signed and completed paperwork to them in an attempt to speed things up, only to be asked again 3 months later for the same paperwork as they said they didn't have it. I also ended up agreeing to pay for an indemnity insurance for the buyer out of my own pocket to get it over the line, (remember this was an auction property where the buyer should have satisfied themselves that they had all of the relevant details before putting in a bid, and legally once the hammer had dropped had no recourse), but at no time did Wilfrid's Law seem to want to enforce the contract despite me giving three deadlines to the buyer and making several complaints about the unacceptable delay and the service.
Contacting the person dealing with it was often difficult, and progress emails generally only transpired after I emailed them. It always seemed to me that they forgot who they were supposed to be acting for. All in all a very negative experience and I would definitely NOT recommend Wilfrids Law.
