It is coming up to almost a year since we moved and I was so upset with the service, it has taken me a long time to feel I could write this review. Bennett Oakley offered me an awful service and treated me often with complete contempt. On more than one occasion they lost my paperwork. Massive GDPR breach. I wasn’t given time to pay a deposit and just given the full invoice just before close of play on Friday (when we were scheduled to move on the Monday!)- and this had been miscalculated. I had no means to pay it over the weekend causing me unnecessary stress. This left me on the morning of our move, having to
rush the bank to transfer the money- when I should have been packing/last bits of cleaning and dealing with the removals company! I believe my sale/purchase was deliberately delayed as Yvonne (who dealt with the final part of the process) was on holiday. I spoke to Yvonne the morning of my house move, very distressed and she was so rude, saying “now you listen to me!”. What she should have been was apologetic. Appalling, arrogant treatment from this woman. Sarah was at least apologetic for their failings at this point. I would never recommend this company and they need to go a long way to improve their customer service.
