Sarah assisted me with a recent property purchase. Sarah and her team kept me well informed throughout the process and provided an efficient and friendly service. I was extremely satisfied with the service received and I would highly recommend this firm.

Fantastic, professional service and kept up to date at all times

I had the most awful experience last year in 2022. I would never use them again. The vendor pulled out because of their slowness to respond to his solicitor. I found that I had to keep chasing them. At one point I had to contact my vendor’s solicitor as my solicitor was not responding. It caused me a huge amount of stress. I also received a fine from the HMRC for the land transaction return being filed late which although they paid just reinforced their poor performance.

It is coming up to almost a year since we moved and I was so upset with the service, it has taken me a long time to feel I could write this review. Bennett Oakley offered me an awful service and treated me often with complete contempt. On more than one occasion they lost my paperwork. Massive GDPR breach. I wasn’t given time to pay a deposit and just given the full invoice just before close of play on Friday (when we were scheduled to move on the Monday!)- and this had been miscalculated. I had no means to pay it over the weekend causing me unnecessary stress. This left me on the morning of our move, having to
rush the bank to transfer the money- when I should have been packing/last bits of cleaning and dealing with the removals company! I believe my sale/purchase was deliberately delayed as Yvonne (who dealt with the final part of the process) was on holiday. I spoke to Yvonne the morning of my house move, very distressed and she was so rude, saying “now you listen to me!”. What she should have been was apologetic. Appalling, arrogant treatment from this woman. Sarah was at least apologetic for their failings at this point. I would never recommend this company and they need to go a long way to improve their customer service.

Absolutely unsatisfactory. Poor customer service. Would not talk to the estate agent. Barely spoke to me. Everything was hassle. AVOID

Absolutely horrendous experience resulting in loss of the buyer. Waisting time making mistakes then demanding payment in full.
I will be taking this further as that have lost and cost me a lot of time and money
