Very unprofessional, to start with very old fashioned and had to physically take passport in for id checks, so time off work, sent correspondence to wrong address causing a delay of a month to the sale of my house, had to be chased all the time, didn’t send queries off for over 3 weeks,couldn’t get in touch, if you want your house move to be smooth don’t even bother with Waldrons

I instructed Antoinette Nasilele back in August for help with dealing with my financial matters with regards to the final stages of my divorce. All I can say is from the get go of my first instruction she was on board to the core, prompt communication through emails/telephones calls/ chasing the other parties, she literally went all out for me and this resulted me in getting the best possible outcome for my financial matter. I felt at ease discussing my case we even had a few laughs here and there because that’s just how comfortable and confident I was with her expertise in the legal field. I would like to add even thou she is a trainee solicitor currently she’s actually a credit to the firm and I genuinely hope she progresses to the next stage of her career because she was amazing with me. It has been quite a long road to obtain the divorce in full as a result of the other party's conduct. Alka Wood has worked hard, remained persistent ,consistent and professional in trying to get this divorce completed. I cannot give enough praise for the amount of work Alka has had to complete for this matter. It has been frustrating at times with no response from the other party's solicitors but this did not deter Alka at all.
Both Alka and Waldrons Solicitors have been polite, professional with great communication and clear advice. I would not hesitate to recommend Alka or Waldrons Solicitors to anyone that requires a solicitor - I myself will consider Waldrons should I require a solicitor in the future.

Used Waldrons Kingswinford for conveyancing, simple sale of our house moving to an empty bungalow, first solicitor left for maternity leave, second solicitor went off long term sick, third solicitor left unsure why, fourth solicitor was there until we finally completed, list of things that happened below
paid £275 to start the searches, two weeks later called for a progress update and they claimed they had not received payment then later confirmed they had which wasted two weeks
impossible to speak with someone, promised to call back never happened
one time was told solicitor was too busy to call me back for three days
we got told 3pm the day before that we would be moving tomorrow.
was told we needed to pay for a bankruptcy check on the sellers only for the same solicitor to tell us a fortnight later we did not need to
HM revenue chased us for unpaid stamp duty which we had paid to waldrons and they hadn't forwarded on
two months after moving i have just recieved an email to say the forth solicitor who has now left had lost our witnessed mortgage deed and Waldron's could not register our new property
there is loads of things I have missed off the list. i would not recommend to anyone in fact i would try to deter them

Don’t bother with Waldrons if you need them to actually defend you and then proceed to withhold critical evidence from you when it had already been requested. Avoid especially when you are a male victim of abuse and your abuser has told multiple lies. Multiple things had gone unread and there was a distinct lack of knowledge around abuse, they didn’t even know what an ISVA was.

My father who is 75 was charged with a driving offence of overloading a vehicle which was a complete joke in the first place and should never have ended up in court. Elle-May represented him and did an amazing job! She came across very professional and treated my father with kindness. My father was ready to plead guilty as he was very stressed about the situation and wanted to go home. Elle-May was amazing in the court room and got the case dismissed on a technicality as the police officer didn’t turn up! Needless to say my father was very happy. I highly recommend Elle-May. Thank you.

The firm was founded in Brierley Hill in 1867 by William Waldron. He practiced in the High Street from offices by the old police station. It was the year that the US purchased Alaska from Russia, Wilbur Wright was born and Nobel patented dynamite. Our firm is older than Marks & Spencer, Sainsbury’s and the BBC, and is one of the longest established law firms in the country.
