Dawn Cash
Solicitor - ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR
SRA ID: 0447955
I started my career in law as a secretary in a small firm of solicitors based in Worcester. Although I enjoyed my introduction working for someone else, I soon wanted more and I began training as a Legal Executive by attending a local college once a week while continuing to work in the litigation department. I qualified as a Legal Executive in November 1997. After moving to Waldrons in 2004, they encouraged me to continue with my studies and after attending Wolverhampton University part time, I qualified as a Solicitor in November 2009 in our Personal Injury Department. I changed specialisms at Waldrons and in September 2013, I started in our Private Client team and have never looked back. I enjoy helping to take the mystery and worry out of making a Will and looking for solutions for my Clients rather than explaining what they cannot do. I also help families to deal with the administration of the estates for their loved ones and I help people to make applications through the Court of Protection where a close family member is unable to make decisions for themselves. I work alongside other departments in the firm, such as the family, commercial and conveyancing departments and with other professionals such as financial advisers and accountants. Essentially, I enjoy helping our clients to get their ducks in a row by planning for their futures and if they are unable to get into the office to do that, then home visits are always available to them. I am a member of the Law Society Private Client Section.
