I wouldn't even give them one star but there is no option to give zero. This firm wrote my mums will when she was in last stages of cancer. When she died her will was contested and the solicitor that wrote it has completely contradicted what was in the notes despite having no documentation to the contrary and there being will notes that say otherwise. They have also showed no compassion for the loss of my mum. There letters are also really poor and frequently use the wrong names and wrong information. I have complained about this but received an unsatisfactory response so unfortunately will have to escalate this complaint. They have caused my family a lot of distress. I would stay away from using this law firm to write your will if you want your wishes followed after death.

Lauren is highly efficient and a great communicator. She is pleasant to deal with and processes paperwork and replies to emails promptly. It’s so refreshing to be able to pick up the phone and talk to her! I highly recommend Lauren!

Lauren was absolutely amazing, managing the conveyancing for both my sale and purchase. I cannot recommend Lauren enough, she is professional, empathetic, a fantastic negotiator, impeccable attention to detail, but most of her she never forgets that there is a person at the end who is going through one of the most stressful times in their lives. I pulled out of the 1st attempted purchase due to Lauren’s due diligence and her gut instincts that something was wrong was spot in, she didn’t let the points go even though we were given the run around, when the evidence was finally provided, it proved Lauren right. Lauren then explained to me in lawman’s terms what it all meant & we pulled out (best decision, she really does have her clients best interest in heart). She then managed the 2nd right through to completion which the same professional and positivity. We had a horrendous exchange day & nearly missed the deadline, Lauren was fundamental in pushing it through & made it happen. I honestly thank Lauren from the bottom of my heart, not only was she the professional I needed, she was also my emotional support & gave me the courage to make difficult decisions. Even though I have moved half way up the country, it I ever do move again, I will only use Lauren for both sale & purchase. Lauren you were a hero, you were my only port of calm in what was the most horrific & stressful time of my life so far. Thank you. To anyone else, please use Lauren, you will not regret it for one instant. The fees were very reasonable as well.

I approached Davis and Blunden solicitors as an overstayer who wanted to put in an application for asylum and had no idea how to go about my claim. I was assigned to Mrs. Fickling and Rebecca as the secretary to Mrs. Fickling. I was listened to in a professional way and received advice about my case. From day one I knew I had come to the right place. Mrs. Ficling and Rebecca were always prompt in answering my questions and clarifying my doubts. I received valuable direction and preparation for my asylum interview from Mrs. Fickling the day before my substantive interview and also what evidence to bring with me. This was so helpful and a week and a half later, my asylum claim was granted.
I am certain that the support and professional advice from Davies Blunden & Evans solicitors had a positive effect on my asylum claim. I just want to thank you all for your support and the rest of the office staff who always made me feel welcomed and valuable each time I visited the office.
