We instructed Victoria Fidgeon in November 2023 following the death of our Dad, to arrange a Court of protection for our Mam, Margaret Grey who was suffering with Dementia. Sadly the Court of Protection application took that long, due to the nature of it, not because of the actions of Victoria, that it was due to be dealt with in court and the court disbursement fee had been cashed(it was that close to being completed) when sadly Mam passed away.(May 24th 2024). So now we had to apply for Grant of Probate. Victoria dealt with this immediately for us and she had an acknowledgement on 24th July to confirm they had received the application, less that a week later on 30th July the Grant of Probate had been received with Victoria. She phoned me immediately to give us the great news as she thought it was going to take 16 weeks.
This Solicitors firm is a local town centre based firm and it has provided me with excellent service at a very emotional time. The lady on reception Lynne, is a very warm lady and I felt like she genuinely cared about my situation and me, and at a very emotional time she was able to offer a shoulder to cry on and the support I needed, and I thank her for that from the bottom of my heart. Lynne and Victoria were very friendly and approachable yet professional.
