Outstanding support at the most difficult times

I have recently worked with Jemma on a tricky divorce, predominantly child arrangements, and I can honestly say I couldn't have got this far without her. Her knowledgeable, empathetic, no-nonsense approach, coupled with a great tenacity and sense of humour, has been a life saver in dark times. She knew exactly what to do at every turn, responding quickly and advising me well beyond the call of duty. I have relied on her honesty at times, which was always valued and fair. She's kept me going, helped me save resources, and taught me so much along the way. I'm carrying so much of that learning through into the bit beyond legalities too. You couldn't wish for better representation. I have also worked with Ann on financial matters and, when Jemma was away, on child matters, and have found her to be equally professional, approachable and knowledgeable.

Excellent service.

We decided a couple of years ago it was time to make our wills. We had no idea how to go about it and because of reviews I had seen we decided to go to Ann McCabe. We were made very welcome and put at ease straight away. We have them a brief as to what we wanted and they took loads of notes plus they told us of "what if" scenarios that we would never have been aware of. They drew up a draft copy within the week and sent it to us for approval. Apart from a few minor things we forgot all was good. We spoke a few times to Emma (Paxton) who was extremely helpful and obliging. We recently had to amend it slightly and again Emma was extremely helpful and all went smoothly.
All in all we had a great experience and would HIGHLY recommend anyone to use them. You won't be disappointed. Give them a try.
Can only give them the full five stars.

Conveyancing via executors of the will

Many thanks to Daniel and Sammi for dealing with my late parents house sale. We (the executors) had a great service throughout, dealing with the inevitable queries and concerns of the buyers and their solicitors swiftly and effectively, meaning a straight forward no hiccups experience for us from start to finish.

Great job and would highly recommend Ann McCabe Solicitors

Great experience with Family Law solicitor

I had a very good experience working with Sammi on my case. She was very helpful, since the very beginning when we had the initial consultation call until the end of the process. She kept me informed throughout the process. It was very easy to work with her. She was professional, and also approachable and she made me feel at ease. I'm very thankful to her!

I was impressed by the efficiency and professionalism with which my application for probate was conducted. Two solicitors worked on it which meant that there was always somebody available to respond to any queries.

Sarah Longley acted for me during the most difficult period of my life with empathy and professionalism. I would have no hesitation in recommending her and Ann McCabe Solicitors.

Gave my ex wife (McCabe represented her) disastrous advice costing her in excess of £10k and me in excess of £15k to defend. (As the defendant I WON HANDS DOWN on the day although only the Solicitors win long term). McCabe was out of her depth but rather than resign kept burning fees. Then went on to wanting to charge £50 for a signature on a property transfer doc. Professes to be a devout Cristian yet her approach and handling of the divorce was anything but Christian. 🙈🙈

If I could leave 0 stars I would! I could write a whole essay on the diabolical service I received from this law firm. Made serval mistakes from the get go, which delayed what I was hoping to achieve. When I emailed the head of firm Ann McCabe, she was rude, had no idea what she was talking about. I was trying to delay a sale as myself and my two children were facing homelessness due to the negligence of the child’s father. Ann wrote to me to say they did everything they could to make sure sale happend as quickly and smoothly as they could!? Absolutely Absurd, that she wasn’t even aware this was the exact opposite of my intensions. I was also made aware that “Sarah Longley” who was dealing with my case, was friends with my ex partners auntie who was acting behind closed doors on his behalf, this and the fact they were apparently “making the sale go through as quick as possible” makes me believe they worked against me. It was all back handed and very unprofessional. Ann McCabe was so unprofessional, no sympathy & compassion whatsoever, same goes for “Sarah Longley” who quite frankly had no idea what she was doing. I was invited for a meeting which I never ended up going, as I knew all that would happen would be spoken to like something beneath there shoe, with all there jargon. Please avoid! No doubt she will be trying to get this review down like she did to my mothers.
