I only became aware recently that you could review a solicitor in the same way you can review a saucepan you have bought from Amazon.
Having read the reviews on Somerfield Solicitors, particularly from two clients who seemed less than satisfied, I felt impelled to write a review myself to inform others of my own, much more positive experience.
I have been using Somerfield Solicitors for a number of years now, for a variety of personal and business matters and have been extremely satisfied with the service received and the outcomes achieved.
Neil and his colleagues have “held” my hand through many situations and always spent the time to help me understand the complexities of the legal system and why some matters are dealt with in a more frustrating and complicated way than a layman would have approached a problem. The legal system can be clunky and idiosyncratic in the way matters need to be processed, particularly litigation, and Neil’s guidance through the system has been both supportive and lead to successful outcomes, which is why I will continue to use him and Somerfield Solicitors with confidence.
No one is perfect, not even solicitors, but dealing with Somerfield Solicitors, has been in general nothing less than a positive experience. As a client I have always felt able to voice my point of view or question their recommended approach to a problem, even raising “ “ queries which are answered with respect (rather than putting me down) which has leaves me feeling that we work together as a team, to achieve the best outcome. Neil’s approach to problems has so far proved to be the right advice. It is the system that causes the problems, and in a current case he is dealing with at the moment for me, the other side who fail to grasp what has been explained very clearly to them by Neil.
Both the system and other solicitors (& their clients) can make a case frustrating and unnecessarily complicated but Neil just gets his head down and does the very best he can for his client, while always keeping you in the loop. I sometimes feel that I am part of his office team, rather than the client. The only difference is that I pay him, rather than he pays me. I am sure however, that if you were a client who is less hands on than me, he would be able to communicate in the most appropriate way for them - it is just that I like to get involved.
I am sure that he has many very satisfied clients, they have just not stumbled up this website to express their gratitude.
