Excellent, efficient start with Pennine Law (Gaynor) super job until taken over by WB Pennine in June. No communication to tell us we would have a new solicitor in the middle of a house purchase/sale. Unbelievably poorly managed towards the end then an unprecedented mess up of dates/money on the completion date leaving our house sellers and above incomplete until the next day!!! Just tragic communication and blasé, unprofessional attitude from Lindsey and Ian. Really left a sour taste after such a pleasant experience with Pennine Law.

I used WB Pennine for my recent house sale and purchase. I initially chose them as they had a local office to my house for convenience.
Moving house is a stressful time and I have many friends and colleagues who have shared their horror stories in moving and how slow solicitors can be etc. However my experience with WB was that they were very responsive, kept me informed throughout, and did everything they could to chase other solicitors and estate agents to keep our house move... moving.
The following transactions and exchanges of monies etc has also gone smoothly and as expected.
All-in-all I would recommend WB for anyone who needs a conveyancing solicitor. We are also planning on using them for a will service given our recent experience.

Too slow service I had to chase up wveuthing staff were ok but the time it took stressed me out and my sellers the whole process was supposed to be upto 12 weeks however it took nearly 6 months for them to complete it

That's all I'm going to write as it's been such a long on going experience buying and selling a house with this company it's completely exhausted us. There's no way it should have taken almost a year even with the few obstacles we came across during the way.

Absolutely useless, would not trust them to complete a wordsearch. Just as an example they've replied to another one star review saying they can't comment because we're someone their client has acted against. The sale is set to complete tomorrow, after 9 months and 3 delays caused by them. So which is it? vindictive liars or subliterate incompetents? Would you trust hundreds of thousands of pounds with either?

If I could give this company zero stars, I would. The service has been appalling—no one responds to emails, yet they have no issue taking payments. Despite numerous attempts to reach out, we’ve been completely ignored, which has become incredibly frustrating. We would switch solicitors, but they’ve already taken our money, leaving us stuck. Writing this review is a last resort, as they consistently fail to answer phone calls or respond to emails. We sincerely hope this prompts them to finally address our concerns.
