Local solicitor failed to continue when part way through work without warning. This firm took over and completed successfully. Only problem was that they were not local and some matters took longer due to reliance on the postal system.

WBPennine staff were always courteous and professional, however, the length of time taken from sale offer to completion was ridiculously long in view of the circumstances of both the buyer and the seller. I was also disappointed that my emails were not responded to or action taken relating to them quick enough. David Thomas, who took on the latter stages of the case was very good at ringing to update me. Also Sian Faries was very helpful when I asked for updates although she never gave exact timescales. The first time I ever emailed the company I received an automated reply requesting that clients did not email for updates as their time taken to answer would take them away from doing their jobs. I found this concerning as I wouldn’t have emailed if I knew what the state of play was. Lastly, I was not happy to pay for the Online Portal Access as this was not updated frequently enough to be of any use and the stages were too broad.

We used Wosskow Brown after a recommendation for the purchase of our new build property whilst using another solicitor for the sale of our home and honestly we couldn’t recommend Wosskow Brown enough, any update we were given phone calls straight away to make sure we were up to date and it avoided any delays with emails. Taiba and David were brilliant from start to finish, most especially on a very stressful and rollercoaster of a completion day! We’re so thankful to Taiba to getting us into our new home exactly as promised. We’d use them over and over if we were to move again. Thank you x
