I have had an ongoing claim with Admiral for 2.5 years. I've just had spinal surgery.
I've never known such poor or uncaring service and I used to work in the big call centres that handle these claims many years ago. Its the polar opposite of Admiral insurance customer service and they are doing the insurance company a dis-service.
I'm almost three years now and nothing at all moved on since May last year when I told them their "expert" was wrong and I had 3 slipped discs and not just whiplash after finally getting an MRI on NHS then paying privately to see a neurosurgeon as I was about to lose my job if I didn't get a diagnosis.
Still waiting on an updated report from their new neurosurgeon expert who I finally got a appointment with in Jan. Apparently there's nothing they can do until the new report arrives. Which took them 6 months to get an appointment for!
I'm now off sick following surgery for 6 weeks with no pay ... do they care? .. no.
They gave £250 compensation for poor service and delays last year and assured me things would change. Yeah right.
