Thank you Alex

Alex at Amicus Law was wonderful. She was kind and caring to my situation. She was very professional but also warm and approachable and so I felt that I had found the right person to help me. I was kept fully informed of everything that was happening. The fee structure was clearly explained and the invoice I received was what I expected, there were no hidden costs. I would certainly recommend Alex to anyone. Again, thank you.

Very disappointing...

Sadly not a good experience for land conveying - lack of communication throughout, (constant chasing required to find out what was happening for a simple land sale that took six months to go through due to continual errors), including wrong documents relating to different client being sent, and finally, no funds sent on completion of transaction (they forgot!).
Sadly - could not recommend. We hope our experience was unique.

Writing our Wills

We were recommended to use this office of solicitors, by a friend who was pleased with work that they had carried out on her behalf. Adam was easy to contact, gave us his direct line and an appointment within a few days.
We were invited to an initial meeting with Adam Hillier at no cost to ourselves.
We felt the environment was welcoming and professional.
We felt comfortable to share our needs with Adam.At the end of this meeting we were not pressurised into making decisions and returned home to discuss this.We had phone calls and emails from Adam and Zara to help with any questions we had.
All staff were very helpful and professional.
The cost of the work was very competitively priced.
We have already started to discuss additional work with the firm.
Will be recommending them to friends and family.

Efficient, courteous with the upmost professionalism

I appointed Amicus Law (Somerset) to handle both the sale and onward purchase of property for my father.

Lead by Bill Osborne and supper by Emily Laver and Sophie Skinner, from the very first contact to the last email I couldn’t have wished for a better transaction.

Nothing was ever too much trouble and the clarity of all communications gave me the confidence that I no need to worry that the legal side of the process was being expertly managed.

Thank you!

I would say that overall, dealing with the 13733 office was excellent. We were slightly unusual where we were buying our house as a probate sale, but with vested interest. It was slow to start, due I think, to having to get all parties aligned, but suddenly, we completed within a few days of being asked when we would like to complete and was a very easy transaction for us. Thank you Amicus!

Andrea took up the reins from another solicitor part way through the conveyancing process and made such a difference. In contrast, I felt that I was in safe hands. Progress sped up, communication improved markedly and I stopped feeling patronised when I made contact. In the unlikely event of going through the trauma of another house move, I would definitely ask Andrea, supported by Donna, at Amicus Martock to undertake the conveyancing. Thank you to both.
