Sale of Shared Ownership Property - Reliable, Helpful & Great Service

My husband and I just recently sold our 50% shared ownership house with Heylo Housing and we appointed Amicus Law as our solicitor to assist us due to their experience and expertise in this field.

The completion of the sale took slightly longer than expected but Amicus Law's legal team has always kept us in the loop on what is happening and which stage of the process we are in. They communicate well and clear.

Upon completion, there was a slight error in the completion statement due to information given inaccurately by Heylo's solicitor, however Fran Dyer and Gary Voysey at Amicus Law, the Shared Ownership Legal team identified the error very quickly and also resolved it very quickly to avoid further delays.

I would highly recommend Amicus Law based on my personal experience. They have been amazing throughout. If I had any question, I could give them a ring and chat or email and they response very quickly too.

I want to extend my sincere thanks to Fran Dyer, Linda Perry and Gary Voysey for supporting the sale of our shared ownership property. Thank you so much.

Worse experience for buying a house - would not use again

My solicitor would not take my calls or return emails. A standard footer basically asks you to leave them alone. It was unacceptable. The only time he actually called me was to tell me the house was mine on completion date. Total lack of communication throughout. Very very disappointed because I also used them to sell a property, and from a sales perspective, the lady who managed my account was absolutely fabulous. It really was a case of complete opposites with the service.

Peace of Mind

Amicus law recently handled the sale of my business including the reassignment of the office lease. Brett England and James Armstrong were very helpful and handled the whole process without a hitch giving me great peace of mind. I would thoroughly recommend the firm to anyone needing legal services.

Once again... brilliant !

I have used Amicus twice. Once to buy my house and more recently to sell it. In both cases they were excellent. No hassle, straightforward, responsive, and easy to work with.

Thank you Alex

Alex at Amicus Law was wonderful. She was kind and caring to my situation. She was very professional but also warm and approachable and so I felt that I had found the right person to help me. I was kept fully informed of everything that was happening. The fee structure was clearly explained and the invoice I received was what I expected, there were no hidden costs. I would certainly recommend Alex to anyone. Again, thank you.
