Top service from Start to Finish

We were first time buyers and needed guidance from beginning to end which we received from TJ who kept us informed and aware at every stage. Our process didn’t end up being straightforward and with this, TJ provided reassurance and knowledge to help us through. I can say that when we come to move again, we will no doubt look to use Amicus again.

Marvellous experience with Nicholas Bevan

Nicholas Bevan was a great pleasure to work with. He is a great communicator and offered wisdom and some great suggestions to help speed things along and get things sewn up neatly. He is responsive and drafts everything correctly without me having to double check everything (which I have had to do when working with other firms). We dealt directly with him rather than via an assistant which is perfect - a first class service. Nicholas is knowledgeable, cultured and fun to deal with, which is welcome when you are in meetings talking about your own death! His enthusiasm, charm and warmth did not make the process longer or more expensive, just more enjoyable. We did estate planning, two wills and LPAs with him. I would highly recommend him and Amicus Law in Ilminster.

Last will and testimony of my daughter Laura

I needed a solicitor who could sort a last will and testament within 24hrs. I had rung many others in the area before I came across Amicus Law. None of them were able to help. As soon as I started the phone conversation with Amicus they were fully engaged. I was put through to Nicholas Bevan who was not meant to be working that day but was catching up with but was catching up with backlogged paperwork. He immediately fully engaged with me to get this across the line. Nick spent a long time on the phone with me going through all the details before visiting my daughter in Taunton hospital the following morning and finalising the paperwork. Nick is so approachable and has an amazing bedside manner. He explained everything in layman's terms so we could all understand. I would definitely use Nick and Amicus again.

Advice on aircraft maintenance negligence

I would like to thank Mr Nicholas Bevan personally for the legal advice given to me on the 2nd and 3rd instant in respect of action which will be necessary to recoup my losses against an aircraft engineering company who carried out the overhaul of my Piper aircraft. The engine was fitted with parts from a crashed aircraft as part of the expensive overhaul.
Mr Bevan not only spent over 40 mins on the telephone discussing the case, understanding the problem immediately and offering advice as to the way forward for legal proceedings. His telephone conversation was followed up by 2 emails detailing what steps I should take against the offending company.
I therefore thoroughly recommend Mr Bevan for his precise and professional advice and will of course instruct him if necessary in the event of failure to recoup my losses
kind regards
Stuart Nicklen

We used Amicus Law to help us with our recent sale and purchase. Russell Munster and Liz Mitchell from the Ilminster branch were brilliant and helped make the whole process straightforward and as stress free as possible. They were highly professional, very communicative, answered all our questions no matter how silly they were, and ensured we were fully informed at every stage. We would highly recommend Amicus Law and in particular Russell and Liz for anyone looking for help with their conveyancing needs.
