I cannot thank Katie and her team enough, I have never needed a solicitor in my life. So by reading the reviews online I decided to choose this law firm. My experience was amazing, from my first phone call to my last phone call. In life I believe you get what you pay for and in this case I was right. The communication was outstanding and I was always told what was happening with my case even out of hours. If I ever needed help again I would never use anyone else. Thank you for getting me the justice I deserved. You guys have given me my life back and I am totally grateful.

I managed to Tot Up 18points on my licence so contacted Forrest Williams. From the outset they were great kept me informed and did everything expected.
I managed to keep my licence and got the points down to 14 which was most unexpected.
Well worth the money.

Lucy was excellent , supported me through the process, was honest about potential outcomes, however helped putting together the correct defence.
Viewed many other companies before Forrest Williams all with exorbitant costs and over exaggerated claims of being able to win.
Forrest Williams are what I would say the peoples choice and a great value for money led by honest values In helping people.

The team including the partner were very efficient from day one and the communication was very professional.
I just didn't like the the barrister was able to see my case the night before but she did a good job. I left with a fine an points but it only shows how broken is our system.
I recommend Forrest Williams for this kind of unpleasant motoring incidents.

I wasn't sure whether to use a legal firm or just make my own case for hardship which I knew had some foundation. In the end I thought I would get legal advice, did some research & found Forrest Williams. Very glad I did. Lucy Stern was so helpful, especially regarding what parts of my case to emphasize and the evidence I needed to support it. Her replies to my questions were always clear and precise and her replies were prompt. She struck me as someone very committed to the job she she doing. The case went very well in court, the barrister selected was fine, and the result was good.

A few months back I had to attend a voluntary interview on an uncomfortable subject. I went with my local solicitors who said they specialised in that field.
I paid £600 for a 2 hour meeting beforehand to go through everything to then be told at the police station that none of that discussion had been past to my solicitor.
After the interview their communication was lacking so I looked around for other companies and after many back and forth questions answered by Katie, I decided to switch to Forrest Williams.
I live in the West Midlands but they were happy to book me in and I visited them up in Mansfield and had a very good meeting with my now paralegal, Aaliyah.
She kept me up to date on what was happening and forwarded me my police interview notes, which despite asking for, the other solicitors never gave me.
I felt I had made a good decision, they are certainly on the cheaper side, but from what I've found, you still get high quality service.
My investigating officer even said the Comms with him had improved with the appointment of FW compared to my old Solicitors.
I have autism (although my traits aren't as demanding as other people's) but having their understanding also helped.
I had Steve Williams defend me, he gave me a good amount of time to ask questions before Magistrates, I never felt rushed and he certainly knew his field. I then had him represent me at Crown Court and it helped me as I already knew him and he already knew my case, so it made the night before easier to deal with.
The night before the police had forwarded my prevention order and points were flagged and discussed by Helen and Steve and the day of the sentencing Helen guided me through what they would suggest arguing.
The 2 points raised were totally removed from the order after prosecution agreed, which has been a big surprise to me and my probation officer since!
I got a VERY good outcome, I had done 2 years of therapy and a lot of work beforehand, but with the help of everyone at FW and their very reasonable fees, I did it privately with great guidance and the knowledge I didn't have to pay over £10k for the 'pleasure' either!
Despite their distance and not being my local solicitors, I'm keeping them as my just in case call.
Very impressed and very happy I took the plunge in switching.

From start to finish they delt with me in a professional and nonjudgmental fashion.
I was guided through my case by Helen Newman and Steve Williams.
I was kept up to date on all administration by the very able Oliver Pinnick-Cook.
I would have no hesitation in recommending Forrest Williams to any future clients.

We started Forrest Williams in 2009 because we wanted to be different. We took a positive decision not to be limited by the service Legal Aid allows, where the government decide how much work on a case and how much support is appropriate. We understand that every case and every client are different – some people are very able to cope and will be happy to trust their case to us with minimal involvement, while others will require a tremendous amount of support and involvement that Legal Aid simply cannot provide. We are a niche practice, we only deal in areas of law that we are passionate about and where we are able to offer an expert service. We have no desire to become a large, high volume practice. We want to be able to offer all of our clients a personal bespoke service. Our clients are different too, they are not repeat offenders or career criminals. Unlike other criminal practices we do not seek to attract those sort of clients. Our clients have normally never been in trouble before, they are unfamiliar with the legal process and do not want to instruct a large practice where they will just be another number. Our clients value the personal service, and hold us to high standards that we are proud to meet and exceed.
