I used this company for financial mediation following a split with my ex-husband. I had an initial consultation with Howard Nulty who complimented me on my outfit as I arrived which I found a little odd, then halfway through the meeting he asked me what I do on Fridays as he 'wanted to take me somewhere' ... wildly inappropriate behaviour to a client and it made me feel extremely awkward. However I'd already parted with a significant sum of money, and against my better judgement I decided to continue with this company for the mediation session with my ex-husband. Mr Nulty was initially welcoming, but once the mediation session started he was very clearly on the side of my ex-husband (aren't mediators supposed to be impartial?) and used intimidation tactics and patronising comments to pressure me to give up way too much money. Luckily for me, I had been well informed prior to this session and said 'not a chance', and used my signed mediation certificate (which took much longer than it should have to be signed off by Mr Nulty I hasten to add) to apply for a financial court order. The court case concluded this week - Mr Nulty told me amongst other things that I would lose a lot of money if it went to court - how wrong could he be! The court ruled in mine (and my children's) favour and took into account all the things Mr Nulty told me they wouldn't. A mean, intimidating, rude and unprofessional individual that is giving this law practice a terrible reputation.
