The lack of working efficiently led me to lose out on the remortgage case which I had lost thousands of pounds and 6 months on, I am still trying to sort out tge mess Armi cost me. Do not even touch them. I wouldn’t recommend this company to anyone. And in the end they had sent me an abortive bill nearly thousand pound for the work they didn’t do.

Absolutely shocking service

Not only was their completion statement twice the amount they quoted me. But I had to chase them every step of the way. On the day of completion they were late starting the transfer of funds, despite having the money for over a week. Then sent an email, rather than calling, to say they had got the wrong amounts due to an error on their end. It was delay after delay, despite being no chain. Absolutely shocking. Would 100% advise to NOT use them.

Worst company i have ever dealt with , no communication , had to send documents multiple times , estate agents and vendors solicitors could not get any replies from them
Will never use them again
Queried a charge for £315 for acting on behalf of the lender (Halifax) …to just be told it can be taken off with no explanation what it was , if i hadnt of questioned this they would have simply charged me an extra £315

Charged 2.5 times the estimated fee for a very poor service

Given mandate early December for remortgage to be completed by end of January, but in early March things were still pending while I was paying loads of interests. Most of my calls and email were ignored. Final bill was 2.5 times of what was estimated, even if they had a clear understanding of what they had to do from very beginning. Highly unprofessional. To avoid at any rate

I would use them!

I would avoid doing business with PLS Solicitors. I was doing a remortgage, so time was of the essence. I would have thought PLS Solicitors would have understood this. They took days to respond to emails and ask for documents that I had already sent. Their communication was extremely poor and have much to be desired. In the company, it seems that the right hand doesn’t know what the left hand is doing. Adding to all that, I was sent another client redemption statement. I can’t believe that I paid over £1000 for this service. I wouldn’t use them or recommend them to anyone.

Whilst the case worker was lovely at the end and she did her utmost with the exchange process and completion, I felt she was over worked which led to major items being missed such as a Lease Extension on the shared ownership property I was selling.
First, the account for my sale was closed by their own doing and it was only after my state agent raised it months later which further delayed the process in which my case worker had to play catch up.
I am also finding out now that the property I bought have significant flood risk and I was not made aware nor advised to have a structural survey done.
I am disappointed with the whole experience esp. when you pay so much for their services you expect them to be thorough and advice you throughout this stressful process.

Poor Service

Poor service from start to finish.

Would not recommend PLS. We used them as our estate agent recommended them and suggested their clients are normally prioritized.
To start, we did not hear from PLS for a few days after our agent instructed them on our behalf, we had to chase and they eventually contacted us saying we "fell through the net", how does one fall through the net?

Throughout the whole process the communication has been awful, we only receive information when we ask for it and even then we only receive short replies with very little information, I contacted our case worker to try and improve the communication as we were first time buyers and a little guidance would have helped but nothing improved from PLS.
I twice asked to speak with a supervisor/manager and was twice told I would be contacted and I'm still waiting for that call.

The tracker is a good idea but it didn't get updated unless I asked why it hadn't, so what's the point in having a tracker if it isn't used by your case workers.

During the whole process I felt like I was an inconvenience to our case worker and like she had better things to do than help me, I was made to feel like our case was the least important.

In one case we were waiting for a document dated 29/6 and only after chasing we received it 25/7.

PLS made our whole process more stressful, more difficult and longer than it should have been, we were first time buyers buying a chain free property and it should not have taken as long as it did.

Would never use again and would never recommend!!

I am very dissatisfied with the service I have received from PLS Solicitors and to address a significant issue regarding unexpected additional fees that have been added to my account without prior discussion or consent.

I initially engaged PLS Solicitors with the expectation of a professional and transparent legal service for my matter, and I was provided with an initial quote of £1,600 for the services required. However, my experience has been far from satisfactory, and I am currently facing an invoice for £2,800, which includes an additional £1,200 in fees that were never discussed or agreed upon.

The lack of transparency regarding these additional charges is deeply concerning

Furthermore, throughout the course of my engagement with your firm, I have encountered numerous issues with the quality and timeliness of the legal services provided. These issues have led to delays and a lack of progress in my matter, which is both frustrating and unacceptable.

First time house buyer

I just bought my first house with the help of pls solicitors Jordan and Richard was great help they always replied back to my emails quickly as I didn’t know much because it was my first time buying a house everything was quick and smooth they answered all my questions nd helped me through all the process of filling forms :)

Awful experience buying my first home!

All I can say is - avoid, avoid, avoid! I am currently in the final stages of buying my first home and PLS have made this process a nightmare. Firstly they are absolutely impossible to get hold of, every time I called it would go to answering machine and if I email they take up to a week to respond. The bills they send are so confusing (especially for a first time buyer who is new to this process) and unfortunately the staff aren’t very helpful when you ask them to explain. The final bill I received from them had completely different figures to the contract that I signed, so I was lumped with unexpectedly high bills and confusion on my monthly payments. Finally, when trying to get this query resolved with them I was continuously told they would call me back with an update and they did not follow through with their promises, making the excuse “there is no update, so no need to call” - with the amount of money spent, I would expect at least a courtesy call. Despite me having only 2 days until completion on my property they did not see it as a matter of urgency to get this resolved, incredibly disappointing. Overall terrible experience and in hind sight I wish I had taken time to look around for a better company - completely unprofessional and unreliable, save yourself the stress and avoid them!
