They drop my case, because I started emailing them every day for an update and stopped being polite, as they wouldn't respond. They were quick to drop my case, because I said I am going to report them to the law standards, society - everyone. It didn't take them long to find the time to write a letter to me then but when chasing for an update and acknowledgment of emails I've sent - they suddenly stop responding.

Simple car accident involving 3cars (2 stationary at junction, 1 ploughing into the back shunting the 2nd into the 3rd), other party accepted liability within a month. 13 months later and I'm still waiting, 2nd car has been paid, my daughter in the car with me has been paid. I am still waiting, I've been in touch lots of times but nobody gets back to me.

The worst solicitors I have ever come across. I have been trying to get a hold of them for an update on a case that they have been dealing with for nearly a year now! I have sent numerous emails asking for an update with no response from my case handler. I have called over 10 times over a period of a week to speak to my case handler with no luck! It’s like they avoid their clients! DO NOT ever use these solicitors! I had no choice as they were the solicitors that were used by my car insurance! You’d rather pay extra money and go with ANY OTHER car insurance company.

A no fault accident where we were stationary. Car written off, my neck broken in 4 places , damaged back and completely lacerated ear. 4 Handlers. I was put in the wrong portal. Blatantly obvious that Carpenters were not taking RSA to court. They lied , inflated my claim to a ridiculous amount, sent me hundreds of miles to consultants I did not need to see and after 3 years RSA decide they want me to see their consultants. Don't bother with the complaint system it is ignored . Ombudsman did nothing either. You have lost before you started and then Carpenters tried to claim money from me that they had received already. Fraudulent in the extreme. They need to be taken to court ..people should get together to sue them. I had to pay over £15,000 to go to another solicitor.

I was injured in a rta early October 21 which the other party admitted liability for. I had a remote medical report in November 2021 and I was sufficiently recovered in January 2022 to start my claim for compensation. It was submitted through the OIC portal (SCNF) and then things went dead after many emails and messages from myself. I was told that my handler hand left Carpenters employment and I had been left in limbo. I was then I was transferred to a new handler. The new handler found that my claim had been submitted through the wrong portal. (None of the facts changed). So a year was wasted. I was then transferred to a handler that dealt with the MOJ portal. In February 2023 my claim was resubmitted through the MOJ portal and things went dead again after entering a written complaint I was told that my handler was on maternity leave and I had again been left in limbo. I was then transferred to another handler. I was asked to submit some photos of the scaring caused by the accident in June 23, which I submitted promptly and it took until October 23 for Carpenters to “update” the medical report which, when it arrived, was unchanged. During this protracted process I have sent many emails asking for information about the progress of my case the majority of these Emails have been ignored. I have tried to contact Carpenters Law on the phone but if I managed to get through I have been told that my case handler will contact me which fails to happen.

I can't imagine a worse experience being possible, If I could have given 0 stars I would have.
Waiting for hours on the phone only to be cut off, changing contacts ( I can't us the word solicitor ) & being asked for information that has already been sent x 3 previously.
If you are ever in an accident & your insurance company say " We've passed your detail to Carpenters" say " No thanks, get me anyone else"

How to car accident 2 years and a month ago carpet is solicitors have handed my file between four different caseworkers never moving any further forward being a serving soldier having to pay premium rate car insurance is when the accent was proven to be no fault of my own can't get closure can't get hold of anybody and it sat in complete dire straits worst company I've ever experienced and I would not recommend them to my worst enemy they don't take it seriously they treat all accidents like it was a joke no sense of urgency don't complete and do the work correctly I now have the higher car company coming to me looking to turn take me to court for my higher car charges which was a part of my insurance don't know where to go don't know what to turn do feeling very trapped maybe I need to take this to the papers with the headline serving soldier no fault car accident being left in limbo by carpenters group for two years with no sign of any closure no litigation complete and hasn't made it to court due to incompetency
