House move

Very pleased with Francis dealing with all the obstacles that came our way throughout the whole saga of our house sale and purchase, would highly recommend his services as he kept us informed throughout the many issues we encountered through the fault of others in the chain and couldn't be more helpful in resolving them.

The worst solicitor in the entire world

The absolute worst solicitors ever - STAY CLEAR. Ignored every e-mail i sent, asked us to pay, then told us they'd made a mistake and we need to pay £10k more, then told us they made another mistake and that we need to pay £1000 more, worst decision ever. Kevin was utterly useless. We dealt with 4 different solicitors in the few months we were there.

My House Sale

I used Headleys in a very high end sale of my business to help pursue a more promising business idea. I first started at Lutterworth with Francis- say no more. For reasons out of Headleys control we got moved to Chantelle based at the Hinckley office. Unfortunately, this didn’t go so well either where her conducts and mannerisms were questionable and her lack of engagement made me feel unimportant as a client who is requiring a service.
I then was transferred to Nick and Georgia, who I must say Georgia’s lack of communication was appalling, always to voicemail, fee times I did get through very abrupt and rude demeanour, came across as she was to important to have the call.
I spoke to Nick numerous times and he was professional and friendly the interactions I had with him.
I was then paired with Hollie, and if truth be known I was very wary as had been passed to various staff members. Luckily, Hollie was a breath of fresh air. Her engagement was phenomenal, always responsive even in the evenings, never felt like we were burden and she always made time for us. Me and my mum were highly impressed with her level of service and her bright and bubbly personality always shone through. We then had the pleasure of meeting Hollie where we signed, exchanged and completed in one day! She was truly exemplary and upon meeting her, her friendly nature was bursting through and her eagerness to help and resolve matters.
I would be more than happy to recommend Hollie to my friends and family and future business peers.
Hollie, if you read this keep going! Good luck with your CLC and keep being you- you are fantastic and you will have a long bright career ahead of you and I look forward to our paths meeting again one day.

My new house!

I am a first time buyer so have no experience to compare using Headleys to. Good initial quote and good price beat much others in the area. Seemed to move quite well but did get to a point where the solicitors paralegal assistant refused to take my calls and respond to emails and when I did manage to catch a conversation it was always abrupt and short. Nick dealt with the work behind the scenes which we thank him for, not much contact (not expected when he has a paralegal assistant) but when we did he was always pleasant and friendly to talk to and cleared up any problems.
I would say communication in the last 3 weeks of my house move came into force as a new assistant Hollie joined the team, a shame she wasn’t there from start to finish as it could of been a more positive experience but I do really appreciate the time she put into us making sure our questions were answered and keeping us engaged. Shockingly, she replied after hours and weekends which I would never expect for a solicitors office but it made us feel important and our house move was important to her- thank you Hollie.
Overall I would recommend again and recommend using Nick and Hollie and the price was a blessing too with a home to kit out ☺️

Overall not a great experience

I chose Headleys to assist in a sale that was particularly important.
I felt the matter was consistently delayed due to the paralegal working on the case and didn’t hear much from the solicitor involved. Phone calls repeatedly went to voicemail and emails unanswered for weeks at a time to the point I had to send emails over and over again to get any sort of response.
Towards the end I had a lot of communication from a new assistant I presume called Hayley/Hollie (sorry I have no emails left if I have got your name wrong) she was very helpful towards the last two weeks and reassured me and helped with my concerns. It was a very sensitive sale that caused me a lot of apprehension and turmoil and could have been handled better.
They know what they are doing and the knowledge the solicitor Nick gave was exemplary but communication is certainly their downfall.
