Thank you to Kath Shallicker for her excellent work registering deeds with the Land Registry! This was a most difficult and complicated task and I couldn't have found a more competent person to deal with this.

Due to the complexity of the case it took many months for the work to be completed but Kath regularly kept me up to date with the procedure.

I would also like to thank Rowena Foat for completing our Wills. The whole process was explained to us clearly ensuring that we were very happy with the final documents.

Minimal stress for my solo first-time buyer experience

I dealt mostly with Abigail Windle, and partly with Dawn Jones at the beginning and end of my purchase. Both were extremely attentive and helpful, which was much appreciated as I was a First-Time Buyer and didn’t know a lot about the process or what was to be expected. Abigail even called me to talk through something over the phone when I was struggling to grasp via email. I did have to chase a couple of things towards the end, but I believe this was more due to a hold-up with the seller’s solicitors rather than through Dawn or Abigail. A couple of times I did go weeks without hearing from them when things were quiet/pending, and an update to simply say “still waiting on X” or “no update but will be in touch” would’ve been appreciated to keep me in the loop, but I also know that they have lots of clients to work with, and it wouldn’t be realistic to do this for everyone! Likewise, when I did email for an update in those circumstances, they were always prompt to reply. Overall, I had a really positive experience and they took a lot of the stress out of what could’ve been a very stressful time for me. I’d definitely recommend them and use them in future.

Very pleased with my choice of Solicitor for Conveyancing

Not all Solicitors are the same. The difference in standards, capability and also attitude towards their client is surprisingly wide it seems. MBH are definitely one of the best ones to use when selling or buying a property. I have used them twice now and have a third and final property to sell and I will be using them again for that sale.

Excellent friendly service

The property I was selling was not straightforward, and some issues arose along the way, which were caused by the buyer. Samantha was always calm, thoughtful, and confident about how to progress. She made a rather lengthy and stressful transaction as smooth and efficient as possible. She was always prompt and responsive with helpful suggestions and support, including liaising with the buyer and the Estate Agents as required. I'm very happy to recommend her very highly.

Done house sale with Caroline Rooks . Works extremely slow. My buyers has complained too, but was more interested to know who complained and not the issue itself. Lied about correspondence too , cos I asked my buyers and estate agent to see the replys from MBH after talking to her about it.
When it comes to the purchase that was even more shocking. My property had some issues with court proceedings that we didn't see it coming and I asked to speak to her about it and her direct replay was I should speak to my morgage broker. My morgage broker undeniably explained that I need to speak to her as only solicitor should talk to me about it . Was made to feel im inconvenience her.
Ive decided to move on to a different property and to different solicitor and I can tell you with experience and my current solicitor that I do not recomend MBH solicitor. Its like day and night when it comes to work ethic, communication and speed .
