An absolute farce

HMRC had notified me that I had a refund and for some reason it was going though Goldman Knightley. This was in April and I have just received it just now in August. I have been contacting them though e mails and phone calls and they basically ignored everything. I did get an answer two weeks ago saying that they have had the money since April and how did I want to be paid!!! I asked for bank transfer and sent the details to the accounts department for payment and also asked for a contact to raise a complaint. One week later I received the money but with a 50% deduction. I still have had no information regarding complaints procedure nor any apology or why it takes 4 months to send this money onto me.

Never got money . Company stealing from others and Ingenuine.

My husband and I were told we were due a refund and turns out I ended up owing the taxman and my husbands cheque never appeared although HMRC wrote to him saying his cheque had been sent to them . Avoid at all costs this does not seem legitimate.

Tax Refund

Had a cold call saying we were owed PPI tax refund and they could help, seemed genuine but couldnt be further from the truth. HMRC has refunded my money to them, I am well aware they are to take there cut but HMRC refunded in September and I am still waiting. After several phonecalls and keep being advised cheque in the post (no idea where the cheque is coming from to take so long) but nothing arrived. Have spoken to HMRC today who have advised to contact the Fraud department as they are keeping hold of money which is not theres. Dont touch how a solicitors can be so fraudulant is beyond me.

Goldman Knightly have had my money for 7 ....excuses galore when contacted... computer down / accounts team not available / they all gone home early... the list is endless. Don't touch this company at all ... how can they keep getting away with this . Angry doesn't even come close :(

Crooks in suits.

There is no reason for them to get involved in peoples legitimate over payment of taxes that are easily claimed or automatically returned by HMRC. They are getting involved in peoples business then having the cheques sent to them so they can skim a 1/3 of your money for themselves. Stay away at all costs and hang up the phone when you hear Goldman Knightly!!!. They are basically trying to piggyback an overpayment in income tax on a PPI payout with your own overpayment to claim fees on your money ie Theft!!!.

Missing half of tax claim...

Avoid this company like the plague. They claimed on my behalf for a tax refund. (I later found I could do it myself). They received the cheque from HMRC, nearly a £1000. It has cleared on December 13th.

My "half" never showed up through the post as a cheque. I put it down to the postal strikes, benefit of the doubt etc. Still nothing on January 6th so I rang them and some lad answered, he didn't sound very old and he didn't seem to know what he was doing. He told me he'd cancel the cheque and the accounts team would put the money in my account within 24 hours. 4 working days later still nothing. I've been ringing all week but it just rings.

I believe this to be theft and today I will be ringing the Solicitors Regulatory Association to make an official complaint.

DO NOT USE - STAY AWAY

Stay away from this company. You pay your requested fees at time of service then without warning 2 years later they send bailiffs & police to your door with a warrant for unpaid fees.

PPI Claim

GK dealt with a PPI claim on my behalf. Overall the service was Very Good. It takes a lot to impress me, that said, credit where credit is deserved, Ryan Jones step forwards. Your professionalism and courteous nature need to be recognised. You kept me updated, did not under deliver, and was very knowledgeable when questioned. Good people are hard to find, Ryan is an asset that other companies would want to poach. GK you have a real stand out employee who is a credit to the organisation. Would I recommend YES i would.

Needed help about my claim

Your company is dealing with a Ppi claim for me.
I spoke to Ryan on Thursday last week about my claim.
Ryan was extremely helpful and nothing was to much trouble for him. He said he would get to the bottom of my claim and would be in contact.
On Friday I rang again and spoke with Ann who was also very helpful.
This week Ryan has showed outstanding customer service and has now sorted my claim.
I will be recommending this company to my family and friends.
The service is outstanding and Ryan and Ann went above and beyond to help me.
They really went that extra mile to help me.
